Not happy with that lineup. Binks and Lati need to start every game.

Eager to see what Simms and Wright can do together.

Was more comfortable with the Lati/Sakamoto pairing than Thomas/Sakamoto.

We know Sakamoto isn’t really a WB - not defensively at least - so to pair him with the CB who has looked a little suspect recently is interesting.

Equally, being positive, Thomas’ ability on the ball may help feed Sakamoto.

No reason we shouldn’t be looking to be offensive and win today.

Arguably our most attacking lineup since Hamer left

Lati is better on the ball than Thomas isn't he?

You know what I reckon this is gonna be a big game for us, just listening to CWR driving to the stadium, we’ve got big changes with our big signings all being trusted together, everyone fighting for their place and trying to prove a point. Big Haji and Simms up top, Saka being tricky on the wing, Kitching being trusted to start for the first time, Norwich not exactly in great form, us now coming into form and the sun’s out, I think this will be a really good game. I’ll stick my neck (ready for it to be lopped off when we lose later on), I think we’ll win 3-2, we’re gonna perform today and I hardly ever feel that way. It’s gonna be a fully deserved win, I can feel it.

Thomas isn’t good at all on the ball

Fuck it I did say I'd take a draw but I'm predicting a win. Wave of positivity come over me. That Norwich team is not the same as the ones that have spanked our arses previously.

Assume that fitness has played some role in this selection as the pairing of Saka and Thomas in combination with an Allen Cake in the middle could well get torn a new arsehole. Interesting to see how Simms and Wright work as a duo though.

Latibeudiere has looked far better than Thomas so surprised to see him dropped. Maybe wanting the extra height. Binks is also a surprise, given his performances. Oh well, good opportunity for Kitching to show what he can offer.
Looking forward to seeing how Simms and Wright play together. Also happy for Sakamota to get a start.

Norwich have a dire away record - I assume we are looking to use the wing backs to push them as Plymouth did and kitching is seen as someone in an actual back 3 not a 5

I feel pretty much the same. Happy to see Saka and Wright starting but I would have preferred to see Lati in the defensive role protecting Saka.

Norwich aren’t the team we saw last year and they are vulnerable away to an attacking formation - the changes aren’t that whacky really
