Nothing wrong with playing out the back, it's having the fucking brain when to just clear it. So frustrating some of the absolute gifts we give with just a moment of stupidity.

Many teams play out from the back , it's 2023
It's lame, though. In moderation perhaps but watching shite lower league players mess up whilst trying to Man City it out from the back is getting monotonous. Then you get Luton and us last season playing more direct and getting results.

Again we've played quite well , we haven't been caught playing out from the back , a player tried to dribble the ball out , it's different

Thought we looked comfortable in the main. Their goal came out of nowhere. Bobby Thomas looking very unsure again. Apart from a couple of loose passes, Allen and Eccles have looked good in the middle. Ayari started well with some nice interchanges but went quiet for last 20 minutes. Neither Simms or Wright look confident.

It is MR's tactic to play out from the back.
There’s a pragmatism, he spoke this week about players making decisions on the ball. Even without the benefit of hindsight, Eccles dribbling in the box under a lot of pressure probably doesn’t qualify as a ‘good’ decision.

By contrast, Bobby Thomas’ passes that were a bit dodgy sits under poor execution rather than poor decision making.

Otherwise, I thought we look alright in that half but now we have an uphill battle now!

Eccles out Lati or MVE in

Wright or Simms out and Godden in

Thomas out and Binks in

MR out Bielsa in

What are you on about , he never tried to pass it out , he tried to dribble it out
He means in general. You just have to watch the FL highlights, there's as many goals from cock ups passing it out as good play-see Marosi this week!

We were playing reasonably well, but we’re creating very little yet again. We don’t win from behind so a point is probably the best we can hope for here.

Wright still very unconvincing in the kindest words possible.

Playing well up to that. Balls are getting into the box. Absolute Sunday morning park football shocker that though.
