Of course it's too early, only a mentalist would say otherwise. Signs haven't been great so far though. Strangely he looked sharpest when he started out here as sub, as soon as he got a start or two it's been downhill since!

Maybe *he* isn't fully Robins standard fit yet?
Unfortunately he will get judged on costing £8m and being our record signing ever.

He does look better against tired legs coming in as sub late on.

What i will say on haji wright , which was laughed off by a fan on here the other day , is there's still plenty of time to work with him to try and mould him into the player we want him to be , its still too early to write him off but he has to work hard to become the player we need him to be
He needs to show more attacking intent, aggression and intelligence and not just amble around lazily with a lack of urgency. He’s lucky to have scored 2 goals but has done little else. I really need to see the passion and drive from Wright which I see in others. You can tell from his body language that he’s not arsed to try harder which is so frustrating.

There’s a player in Wright, you can see glimpses of it but I feel he’s just too static.

I get that dropping deep and getting the ball at his feet might not be his game but he needs to move around a bit more up front.. get closer to simms or try and draw defenders wide, but most of the game he just stood still or jogged about.

If robins can drill it into him to be a bit quicker with his movement and passing and just to be a bit of a nuisance he’ll be a good player for us.

If you told me we'd get 7 from 9 after the Cardiff and Huddersfield shit shows I'd have called the police on you. Hate international breaks but this one is well timed for us so looking forward to coming back and making a go of it.

Last year of course, we got into form, had a break for the world cup, and came back diabolical for a spell!

There's a hint of shyness to Wright in the "behind the scenes" videos. Once his confidence is up, more time with the coaches, and he's got O'Hare and Sheaf behind him, I reckon he'll come good. His work rate off the ball needs a fair bit of improving though, that's why Godden has to be starter

How was it lads just woke up ling day on the piss in Las Vegas reading comment's Wright had another shit game but no one was that impressed when we first had VIK so hopefully MR can turn him round like he did with VIK.

Wright isn't aggressive enough, good to see MVE back, we look much better with him in the RWB position.

Absolutely ! A squad beset by injuries to critical players and yet... 4 games unbeaten, 3 points off the play offs and just 2 defeats. Just with until we have a full squad of our best players. I despair of those who are still critical.
And this is only year one too. These players will get better season upon season as mostly young or reaching peak years

He gives off that vibe. He’s talented but needs a lot of coaching. Once he’s learned the league and what’s expected of him in this system we’ll see a good player.

Throw in a load of new lads who are still getting to know each other and all things considered we’re not doing badly. There should be plenty more to come from this team

Yeah, whatever the moaning it's actually a better start than I'd have feared!

What we are is hard to beat, so whenever we get our forward play firing, better times could be ahead than I expected this season.

Genuinely thought it was a good performance that was just missing something in the final third. The makeshift midfield largely kept them at bay, to my surprise.

Suspect that if Godden had played from the start we'd have won that.

Thought Sakamoto was fantastic all game, a constant threat, and delivered good crosses (well, they would have been if anyone attacked them). He's got the potential to be a real star.

Ref was a c**t

Simms a lazy fucker and Hasnt kicked on

The rest of them fantastic, especially Tats MVE and Ayari

Shout out to the SBA, place was pumping again, and if Tats diving header had gone in the place would have shook!

Pleased with where we are. Literally a full squad to choose from after the break.

Onwards and upwards
