You can’t train or mould Simms or Wright, they cost a fortune at our level and they’re both lazy,, both shit in the air, neither come for the ball, neither chase down the defenders , they both smack the ball into defenders legs at every glimpse of goal.
in short someone should fess up and say we’ve been done !
Are you the c**t that sits behind me giving pelters to Wright and Simms? If they had raced around doing doggies between their centre halves what do you think would have happened? They’d have played through the press and carved us open because three at the back is not a pressing formation, anyone with half a football brain knows this but idiots like you are oblivious

Yes, you'd accept less from them if they were free, of course.
They'd get less stick if they were free signings. The size of the fee is always going to raise expectations, but it's fair to say that neither are good enough, and I can't see giving them more time is the answer.
Which is very worrying.

Before we rip up Wright’s contract, let’s remember it’s the first time him and Simms have played together, and our strikers basically got no service all game, got to give them both some slack.
Same old story, horseshoe-shaped passing and no clear balls along the ground for our strikers to chase. We need better quality service before we start writing anyone off.

15 million on the bench 😂😂
Steve Coogan Shrug GIF

rotate them, might work better on their own, but at the minute Godden is first pick for his work rate, goals, and link up

Created enough to of won the game and had them restricted to booting it anywhere in the end. Its another point and another week closer to getting Sheaf and O hare back in which if both fit will make a massive difference.

Saka is a nice player to watch on the ball and would be great to see him have a run in the side. Its just where to play him but he is getting up to speed and will make opposition try to nullify him in the final 3rd.

I see really big positives, i wanted 3 pts but this squad is growing and new players are all showing capabilities at any given time. We can look at the ifs and buts and wish for more points. But the main thing is we are not easy to beat, we keep going and our bench can now change games. Double the points, twice as many goals and same number of clean sheets from past season. Be happy, im sure we will see these draws turn into wins soon enough.

Seriously, you can't defend Wright and Simms today, both were poor, what's inexcusable is the lack of effort, lack of effort has nothing to do with a lack of confidence or needing time to gel. They just look weak in all departments.
It might not be their fault of course, we may have just fucked up our recruitment.

Upto now the fans at games have been patient (mainly) with both, but you could definitely hear that start to change at times today.

Simms lazy? Wasn’t great today by any stretch. But what about Wright who genuinely looked like Yakubu at times.

Simms was doing the chasing down out the two and putting himself about. Some have just made their mind up on certain players and see what they want to. Was the same with Godden after last game and Eccles today, who I thought had a decent game and won back possession numerous times, one mistake and that’s it whatever he does the rest of the game (it was him who sniffed out the danger and intercepted ball to start with)

I can't speak for today, but I've been slightly baffled with the sea change as he's been playing exactly the same as last season, when the consensus was he was fantastic(!)

(Mind you, I was underwhelmed last season!)

It happens sometimes with players, it seems there's a todal shift for no apparent reason!

I support all our players at the stadium, on here I’m entitled to my opinion. Our build up play was commendable….our over priced strikers are powder puff. You’ll learn little boy !

Eccles is a squad player and nothing more. Once COH and Sheaf return, I would send Eccles to the bench.

Same with Thomas. Binks is clearly a better player.

Nah he was actually good at football too. Much better going forwards and worked well with the RWB
I wasn't disagreeing with you, he genuinely ran his socks off and even managed to test their keeper, which is more than the front two did. He's our engine room.

And play who next to Sheaf? Ayari?
Well, you either need Sheaf to become more progressive, or have a progressive player next to him.

FWIW I'd think Sheaf could be a bit more aggressive going forwards, has the passing range and a decent shot on him too... not that you'd know from his scoring record for us!

Sheaf and Eccles work well together

Reading their board sounds abit like on here, they had fans fighting each other and were moaning about their own team wasting time.
We nearly had a full on fight behind us in block 16 over something stupid, must have been the heat!

You can write your football knowledge on the back of a postage stamp. What service did the front two get? Absolutely nothing first half. If they both press the centre halves what do you think would actually happen?

Interesting scenes at the train station with 20-30 Norwich climbing over the gate to force themselves on the train. Really have to get more carriages on the service.
