You can write your football knowledge on the back of a postage stamp. What service did the front two get? Absolutely nothing first half. If they both press the centre halves what do you think would actually happen?
An insult coming from you is just laughable.
You might be happy with their contribution, but I think you'll find your in the minority.
As per usual.

Love it, what they deserve after their "wah, I don't like getting promoted every other season, it's boring" attitude few years ago.

I don't think it's a lack of effort with Simms or Wright tbh.
Wright just doesn't look like he really knows what his role is and the game passes him by
There were loads of situations when both didn't close the ball down and let their keeper waste time. Write never seems to show any urgency. It may be that he runs very upright and doesn't use his arms when chasing down so looks like he isn't bothered, but to be he just isn't putting a shift in

Our build up play was commendable….our over priced strikers are powder puff. You’ll learn little boy !

Our build up to what? We didn’t build up to anything but a Norwich player expertly heading the ball into his own net. We can pass it round the back well, absolute hats off on our back passing, but our chance creation is shocking. We’re so static, we rarely thread a ball through to our strikers, we don’t back up our attacks in numbers, we rely on crosses that go nowhere far too much, our general build up play is dogshite. We defend brilliantly, and our midfield works hard to get the ball but in terms of creating a clear chance for our strikers to shoot from its absolutely piss poor.

Yeah there was that 5 minute period where their defender could have lay down with the ball and nobody would have pressed him, but I think both strikers were told to just hold the CB's up that side of the pitch and then neither Simms or Wright were sure what the other was doing.

Robins doesn't strike me as the kind of manager who would stand for lack of effort really

Reading their board sounds abit like on here, they had fans fighting each other and were moaning about their own team wasting time.
We nearly had a full on fight behind us in block 16 over something stupid, must have been the heat!

Or the powder

There's little in it between Ayari and Palmer.

They are totally different - palmer has so little movement he can’t play when we have two forwards

If you pressure the ball you have to know 1 if you are being backed up with cover and 2 have an idea of which way you are forcing the player on the ball to go which allows behind you to react. . So i don't just blame the front 2, i look at the communication and movement behind them. You either go altogether or drop as a team and let 1 player force a pass into your block.

The only issue i had that i could see was the front 2 at times didn't commit to 1 or the other a few times which looks lazy but really its not. If we would of given them the space they will move it around you all day long and get behind you. Its better they play in front of you than between and behind you. Give it time and players back fit and all will come together.

Smoking area is a joke. Just managed to get here and need to head back for second half
Actually it isn’t a joke, it’s an incident waiting to happen. There has always been a smoking area outside Gate 1, today moved to Gate 11 with no warning or explanations. So hundreds of people are rushing all round the concourse, trying to force their way past people in the queues for the food and drink kiosks and then getting back to their seats after second half kick off. I don’t smoke and I’m trying to give up vaping so hopefully won’t matter a jot to me, but there is the propensity for kids to get trampled on or fisticuffs breaking out. Some will start smoking in the toilets.

Why have they done this? Someone said because it’s near the family zone but if that was the case then open Gate 2 or 3.
Gate 11 is where the outside food and drink outlets are sited, is that the reason?

Perhaps @Sky Blue Pete could raise with the club.

One could be forgiven for believing that you are enjoying Wright's poor performances.
Not at all, just stating the obvious.
We're virtually a quarter of the way through the season, surely a decent player would be performing better by now.
People have been calling for him to start a game along side Simms, and today we saw exactly what I feared, a lack luster display.

Are you the c**t that sits behind me giving pelters to Wright and Simms? If they had raced around doing doggies between their centre halves what do you think would have happened? They’d have played through the press and carved us open because three at the back is not a pressing formation, anyone with half a football brain knows this but idiots like you are oblivious
Do you sit near me where fuck nuts and his brain dead son drone on all game slagging off everyone?

From what MR said in interview he was happy with them as they blocked the channels for Norwich to play out. Fans see that as not pressing but sometimes there’s a bigger game plan.

Didn't hear MR but I was going to say this. It was clearly tactical & we completely nullified them, it was working brilliantly.
The only problem was, once they were in front we had to take more risks & press with more intensity, which naturally would leave us more open & the strikers were then a bit unsure on when to press & when not to.

Will be fine when Rishi bans kids smoking...

Based on what we've seen across the course of the season, a fully fit Palmer wil be playing ahead of Ayari.

Can't see it. Ayari has bags of ability and is getting better each game.

I said a couple of weeks ago he looked like he should have had a season in L1, well today he didn't look out of place.
Needs to start consistently producing end product now and I think he will.

I was coming from Block 35, just picking up a train of confused and increasingly angry people trying to have a fag. I saw people give up half way and just smoke in the concourse because it was so packed nothing would be done. Would love to know the decision behind it. I bet it’s nothing more substantial than “I don’t like smokers”.
