As soon as I saw the hair on the ref and the linesman on the tesco stand sideI knew they'd be a problem.

Should've been a couple of early yellows but once that never happened it was a licence to continue.

He wasn’t just bad today,he was biased. And that opens up a whole new ball game.
I hope the club ask for his performance today to be looked at.
I think he was just crap. If he was biased, then he had the perfect opportunity to give them a penalty but declined.

They should make these buffoons re watch the game with a stopwatch and then when it’s way more than four minutes say how did you come up with four. The keeper wasted more than four alone.

Good point but then I struggle to see how he could get added time so wrong and blowing at exactly 4 after the added time was a conscious decision.

2 in the first half was mental as well.

Did they forget the new rules or?

There should be a maximum time for teams to celebrate. im sure they must have all been up in that corner for a good five minutes while we were waiting to kick off. When two minutes added time came up in the first half i didnt know whether to laugh or cry. We were def playing against twelve today.

Thirty seconds is enough time after that you should kick off.

And time stopped still for you. It was a while, but probably 90 seconds max.

The linesman or person were just as bad. We had been spoilt recently by referees that wernt noticeable. But this guy was horrendous for both teams.

Ccfc should be complaining about that today

Would have accepted 8 but wouldn’t have been surprised with 12 on the board

interestingly he was also the referee for our home game against Middlesbrough at the beginning of the season. Had a quick check of the stats in that game and he added on 9 minutes of added time at the end of the second half in that one.

Why did they enforce these new rules if they were only going to be in place for a few weeks before being disregarded, reverting back to the bollocks we’ve been accustomed to every season. I guessed that he would only add on 4 minutes despite it being 10 or more with their shenanigans. 5 more minutes and we’d have won that, those time wasting tossers were holding on at the end. Their keeper was an utter clown. How he wasn’t shown a yellow I’ll never know.

The non-yellow card incident which really took the piss for me was first half, professional foul on Eccles - I think it was. Completely broke down our counter, the Norwich player (who had already committed at least 2 fouls) just took him down to stop the attack. When you don't give cards for stuff like that, you're basically just telling players they can get away with whatever they want. And you're not punishing cynical fouling where the Intent is to stop play.

Or all of football could do what Rugby do and stop the clock when balls not in play.

No need for extra time, no need to time waste as the clock has been stopped and gets you no where. Least that way we get 90 mins worth of football.
The game would have finished about 5:30 yesterday if that had happened. Mind you, would have still had 20 mins to spare for the first train back to Cov Station!

While i feel in the mood for moaning, what is it about throw ins nowadays? We were as bad. If refs arnt going to insist they are done correctly why dont they just say you can throw the ball back in play any way you want. Under arm, one handed...you could get a lot of distance and would give the thrower more options than standing there waiting for movement or the right distance to give it to a team mate.

Isn’t it the fourth official who works out added time?
