West brom is a must win
Godden was flat footed and slowThat ball from Eccles was crap and not into his path-left him too much to do.

When he's not scoring it can be a big problem to the team, because he's just rather slow. We were putting through balls up to him tonight and he was easily outpaced.Godden has been the worst of the three for a few games now.
Slipping into and unwanted scrap without a pitch to blame it on. Hard times.
No must wins in OctoberNot allowed to say that on here.
do you really think Godden was going to use his pass to run onto a ball not directly to him? That ball from Eccles was crap and not into his path-left him too much to do.
He says it every game to be fairNot allowed to say that on here.
He seems to have got slower and with very little support from Simms and Wright he is being shown up.When he's not scoring it can be a big problem to the team, because he's just rather slow. We were putting through balls up to him tonight and he was easily outpaced.
I can only remember one where I thought he might have done better.I can remember three times off the top of my head, each time he was easily outpaced or outmuscled.
They've got pretty much the same team TBFThey are now.
They lost 5 out of their first 7 and drew the other 2.
They were a basket case when we played them.
I can only remember one where I thought he might have done better.
We're so slow moving the ball forward that he's feeding mostly on scraps. Simms got in better positions but seems slow pulling the trigger, probably a confidence thing.
I don't get the hatred for Godden, personally, but it's all about opinions I guess...
Or gnanduilletIf only we had signed Billy Sharp who is ripping it up in the MLS…

Box formation, Simms up top on his own, play more direct have runners off Simms, worked for Sunderland when he was there, O'Hare and Tats either side, send Ayari back once Palmer and Allen are back. Two up top is clearly not working plain to see, was the same with Vik and Godden.
Who isn't ripping it up at Dunkerque here in the north of France. They're bottom of Ligue 2 and he isn't scoring.Or gnanduillet
We also got incredibly lucky at QPR with our first two goals coming from massive deflections.Absolutely, but everyone was beating them when we did. Equally, the QPR result doesn't look as good when you see their form.
I don’t get the characterisation of simply ranking our three strikers over the last few games as hatred but there you go.
That is the most frustrating thing for me . The majority of the signings have a decent championship pedigree , and in MvE and Sakamoto we thought we were getting game changers .Fucking shite. Look totally toothless up front yet can concede at will from set pieces, even if we bring everyone back.
31 corners in two games, and we haven't even looked like being remotely dangerous from any of them.
Surely it must be obvious that the way were set up is not working and we've got to rethink. We've got the players, we're not getting anything out of them.
Robins done his post match interview yet?
sharpening up his Japanese to dig it even deeperRobins done his post match interview yet?
Come off it mate, if you think some of the comments regarding Godden on here are objectively and calmly ranking strikers, then you're not bothering to read the thread or you need better spectacles.
Is that really how we are going to micro analyse our results to suit the narrative ?We also got incredibly lucky at QPR with our first two goals coming from massive deflections.
Literally all I said was he’s been the worst of the three. I think he has. I don’t hate the guy, Injust don’t think he offers anything when not scoring and he’s not scoring
He’s one of those that’s on the “do not criticise” list though I guess. I’ll post a donkey GIF of a 22 year old instead so I don’t cause so much trouble.
