So you have moved from your position of we didn't have any very good chances then?Good, but not a sitter.
That was a very good chance indeed. He seemed certain to score.
Wait til the highlights come up.

It is, but that wasn’t the case last night - go and have a look for yourself, rather than just making stuff upIt is possible to accumulate a high xG without creating anything clear cut.
We have one who cost £4M on the benchWe don’t have leaders on the pitch.
I might be wrong but it looked from the replay that I saw that Godden didn't get a touch to the chance in the 3rd minute. Thats down as a 0.43 alone. It is, but that wasn’t the case last night - go and have a look for yourself, rather than just making stuff up

Doesn’t matter anyway - we had multiple chances that were equal to or better than Rotherham’s chances, that’s what we’re discussing here.I might be wrong but it looked from the replay that I saw that Godden didn't get a touch to the chance in the 3rd minute. Thats down as a 0.43 alone.

They move to the same space a lot I think, getting in each others way. Wright makes the Gyok run wide quite a lot so it’s less of an issue as Simms tends to sit central.
Do you think that Robins will change things up as I can't see anything altering if he doesn't?Still there’s always Monday, good performance and result needed
only 3 points of mid table I just don’t see where the next win is coming from, still been through worse
What is it with MVE ? He has pace to burn but instead of trying to take on the opposing defender and get a cross in he invariably cuts inside and plays a short pass to a player who frequently has a man on him . I can't decide whether this is lack of confidence or whether he has been instructed by the coaching staff to attempt to retain possession. Just have a bloody go at beating the man and crossing the ball into the box.
What you have just quoted is surely based on Birdwell or do you just listen to cwr and not attend games?
He's a tidier footballer, but he is no more attacking or defensive than Bidwell, there's very little between them. If I was Bidwell, I would be banging on Robins doors asking why I'm getting no minutes.

There are 2 very big factors missing to attempt to play with the old style. None of this lot could play those rolesAbsolutely shite. Lost for words. Why have we changed from a style that worked. We were a less possession but fast countering team and now we’re a possession based team passing sideways? We are so slow as well. Even if we counter quickly, once it gets to Simms or Palmer (when he’s playing) it slows right down.
Not a bedwetter yet but Robins game management and substitutes are poor.
COH looked good when he came on!
King has said it's a 5 year plan though. Fair enough I expected a lot more with the "quality" of signings made but if this is a transitional season then so be it
This has to be repeated a lot for some reason, but he's sold ÂŁ35 million worth of players. So in terms of squad value he's down ÂŁ15 mil.
I think you're missing the point, we're comparing the team Robins had at the end of last season - just before Vik and Gus were sold - to the team Robins has now. This team - value wise according to purchase and sale price - is worth ÂŁ15 mil less than that team. So essentially he should have a worse team on his hands now. Also add to the fact that he had multiple loan signings, which were worth a lot combined, so you would also have to add that onto the value of the team towards the end of last season. We're not comparing this team to when Gus and Vik were first signed on permanent deals. If you're going to go down that road then at least be accurate about it.
That is utter nonsense
You had your mind made up the moment he signed.
He was decent in the first half and poor in the second. Certainly not alone in that respect.
He's better than Bidwell and the manager agrees.
Your track record on wing backs recently is less than impressive. How's Todd Kane getting on?
I think overall we have more quality but it’s just that it’s spread out across all positions and unfortunately for us it seems that it’s better to have a handful of exceptional quality players to carry your team rather than have a whole team full of just decent quality players. We’ve lost more quality than we’ve brought in. By definition.
Tbf not all players do well off the benchAnd if I were Robins I’d say it’s because when you’ve come on you’re crap.
That's fine if you think that, but it's still accurate. Ergo, cannot be nonsense. I'm not stating an opinion, I'm just stating the facts.
For me we just need to become a busy side again who will set the tone with work ethicDo you think that Robins will change things up as I can't see anything altering if he doesn't?
Maybe COH is enough to spark the players around him
It isn’t accurate as the money is used across the whole squad so the squad is improved By your logic Brentford when they sold Watkins and purchased Ivan Toney had a weaker squad
in fact their net spent that season was not ÂŁ15m like us but ÂŁ54 million
They got promoted
It absolutely is accurate. The team towards the end of last season was valued higher than the team we have now. Not sure what you're not understanding about that. Whether the team is actually better or worse - as per the Brentford example your giving - is irrelevant to the point being made.
Brighton are currently 94m down on their squad from last season… doesn’t seem to cause them issue. That's fine if you think that, but it's still accurate. Ergo, cannot be nonsense.
I'm not stating an opinion, I'm just stating the facts.
Can't be any worse . I'm worried where the goals are coming from nowIf you're suggesting going back to the box, then I think we will have to rely on the midfielders scoring, as having one striker whether it be Simms/Wright or Godden worries me where the goals are coming from
Brighton are currently 94m down on their squad from last season… doesn’t seem to cause them issue.
your “fact” in isolation is nonsense for instance, Our defence last season is worth £0 based on what it’s gone for and is now worth 11/12m and it’s worse
No it isn’t as the money used strengthens the whole team.
So when we signed Gyokeres you are saying he’s not as good as any outgoing player who would have been sold for more than a million?
By his logic the squad was made worse when we signed Hamer as Tom Bayliss was sold for more money
I really don't understand why you've got a hard on about this. The original post the response was made to, declared we should be a lot better because we've spent ÂŁ15 mil. I'm stating this team is worth less than the one we had towards the end of last season, which is accurate. You can make of that what you will, but we certainly haven't improved the value of the team by ÂŁ15 mil.
