will be totally different, again, and still no where as near as good as last season.

I think it's time to give it a go without Fadz.

Still great on his day, but he's not as consistent as he was and his lack of pace is a concern. Struggles against quick strong forwards - playoff final goal being a prime example.

I would also bring in Bidwell for Dasilva as he is much better defensively.

Interesting stat I saw on twitter - this stage last season we had kepts 6 clean sheets. So far we have kept just 2. I'd take a cleansheet and a 0-0 draw to stop the rot. We need to become hard to beat again. Too many mistakes are making it easy for teams to sit back as they know they will get a chance.

Need to go to a back 4, absolutely no point in playing 5 at the back if we still concede multiple goals every week. We can’t score goals and we’re still conceding, might as well put an extra attacker up there, actually cause the opposition problems rather than trying to hold onto the ball for the whole game. At this rate the best we can hope for every week is a 0-0 draw.

Bobby Thomas is really struggling stepping up a league, was he meant to be a good passer at Barnsley? The best 3 from what I’ve seen are Kitching, Latibeaudiere and Binks
My Son in Law's Dad is a Barnsley ST holder he tells me Liam Kitching is a really good player and was sorry to see him sold....time for him to get a good run in the team now I think.

It’s not happening, the players have been recruited to play in a back 5. And I wouldn’t like to be Mark Robins explaining why a £4m defender and £8m striker signed this summer have no place in his system now

Yeah I agree we’ll probably never play 4ATB but I think that’s definitely one of the reasons we’re not playing well, we need to stop playing possession football as if that’s the only thing that matters, need to actually do something with the ball. I don’t mind playing 5ATB if our wingbacks actually contribute but they don’t seem to have the ability to do it atm. I just genuinely think 5ATB can only take you so far, it’s way too defensive and we’re still conceding so it basically seems redundant at this stage.

Wtf even is Bobby Thomas? Why was he so good first couple of games and since then turned to shit??

He’s a young lad in and out of an ever changing back three

Finding it strange that Robins isn’t starting Lati ahead of him at the moment though as he’s far more comfortable on the ball

Again, given time Thomas will come good though
