Nice touch tonight-When will it turn toxic? (7 Viewers)

Yeah, can’t argue with that. It was only a handful of idiots for the ironic cheer though. Wilson should’ve been supported

Bizarrely I also think it’s partly to do with the actual songs. The fans like that Wright song 🤷‍♂️. Simms doesn’t get a sniff of a song being sung. Was the same with Vik for ages, fans singing hamer song regularly even when it’s Vik winning us games. Fans are strange !
Because the best one so far for Simms is tear you apart and it’s a bit shit/depressing.

Fans generally sing the best/easiest songs the most. And the easiest ones are generally stolen from other clubs (Hamer, Saka, Wilson, Dasilva) or are just short and easy (Haji).

We built our success in the past 4 seasons by getting behind the players no matter what.

A few bad months and we are in a fucking silent stadium chasing a lead. The fans aren't turning toxic, they just aren't making an effort to create an atmosphere.
Because the players aren’t giving anything for the fans to get behind

We used to wind up away fans who had that argument and sat in silence.

We have turned into the club's that came to the CBS last season and sat in silence.

The atmopshere is gash this year because the teams gash

Plus lets be honest no one is gaining an affiliation with any if the dross we've brought in
Saka will soon be an exception to that. Continues to work hard and seems to be adapting the best despite speaking hardly any English. Pity we didn’t sign more like him.

I bet the management team wish there were more supporters like you, with your boundless positivity. They must also be thrilled with your helpful leaking of stuff supplied by your insider (who should shut the f**k up IMO).

Imagine being that wound up by it

Reading stuff about the dressing room atmosphere from you pissed me off a little.

Imagine witnessing that and deciding to go blabbing about it

So what if he has ‘blabbered’ about it? What harm’s it done to the team?

What harm does leaking stories about a poor dressing room atmosphere do? Gee, I’ve no idea.
Saddlebrains has some very valid opinions and can be a solid contributor but currently he comes across very bitter and has an agenda based on a friend he feels has been wronged . Don’t think it is helpful with on and off field problems currently

I snuck more snacks in tonight, gradually getting more and more in each week. Planning on smuggling a ploughman's crusty baguette in next match.
He's a groundsman not a 'ploughman'.
Besides, I think his wife brings him a flask of soup at HT so your gesture would be futile.

You're joking surely.
And posting team plans / anticipated tactics a couple of days ahead of a game? I realise WBA wouldn't go looking for information on Sky Blues Talk, but anything plausible on the web travels everywhere within minutes. Genuinely surprised the apparent mole hasn't been whacked.

You’re utterly ridiculous. No one of any importance at the club reads this forum. Heck, most fans I’ve spoken to in person haven’t either.
Whether or not anyone reads it, the minute someone on the inside starts telling others about how shit the dressing room is it only makes things worse. You can’t improve a relationship with someone while slagging them off behind their back, it’s basic social stuff.

said it already but I though Wrights overall game was better than I’ve seen yet. His movement and endeavour was better and was a nuisance in the first half, unfortunately didn’t take his chances
I agree he looked better but it's not exactly a ringing edorsement. he was still well below the level required and the only real reason he'd keep his staring place is that neither Godden nor Simms were any better.
