He said when he signed that he can also play left wing. If we changed to a 4-2-3-1, he is an option further up the pitch

Dasilva’s problem is that he’s very weak defensively. He’s ok in terms of the continuity game Robins wants but on balance I think he’s cover for Bidwell.

He's had a few poor matches and deserves to be dropped but he is a much better player than Bidwell.

Depends what you want. If you want someone to receive the ball in midfield, control it and return it to where it came from he’s fine and keeps you in possession. But if you want someone to stop goals being conceded he’s not as good as Bidwell at that.

It's a subjective judgement but it seems Robins thinks so.

Robins also thinks Godden is better than a combined forward line which cost over £12m

Probably not the best time to be citing Nigel Pearson's judgement!

Would like to see Bidwell back in for sure.

It feels like up until now DaSilva has been one of the first names on the team sheet and undroppable. I'm really not sure why at all. Done absolutely nothing of merit to deserve it.

So basically none of them are any good at getting forward

12 million in transfer fees....more like 20 if we're including wages too

Yeah, he does seem to be the one that hasn't be rested/rotated/dropped out of all the summer signings, but it's not like Bidwell was bad last year or that Dasilva has been exceptionally good. Even MvE has missed a game (non injury related) despite us not having another player that plays there as their preferred role.

There are a number clamouring for Bidwell but in fairness to JDS he has had a solid start to his CCFC career without being spectacular.

The same can be said for other players, yet they have been taken out at one point or another. It just seems odd that JD hasn't been when we have another player in that position, which is one of the most demanding in terms of covering ground etc, who we know is more than capable if not spectacular.

It's not having a go at him, it's questioning why MR has chopped and changed pretty much everywhere else, including putting square pegs in round holes at times, yet hasn't switched two players who are extremely interchangeable.

Been talk of Bidwell leaving and in January we might cash in and sign a prospect in that position? Agree he could slot in and do a decent job.

You can’t class wages, everybody has wages

Everyone earns the same wages? Would a 1 million pound signing earn the same wages as a 6 million pound signing? Your logic is fucking mental mate.
