No.
Possession wise, we are ok, and I think positive possession stats are clouding actual performances. We have some tidy footballers but no forward thrust.
1st half today, we had a lot of chances, but YET AGAIN, most of those were in front of an opposition back line. (Shots from distance - even the Godden/Simms chances weren't by cutting through the Bristol side) I can't remember ANY occasion this season where we have played through the middle of a side and created a 1v1 with the keeper or a clear cut chance. Can't remember any swift counter attacks (one goal Vs QPR?), we lack quality in the final third. (As noted by my impromptu conversation with Bobby Gould earlier)
Our goals have generally come from a few set pieces, shots from distance or OGs.
I'm disappointed with what has been served up this season.
Goddens had a few 1 on ones but fucked them up!!

I was massively pissed off how we capitulated yesterday after looking forward to a game after the international break bollocks then after a very promising start we regressed once again. I am sure Robins is doing something to try to arrest this almost lack of desire appearance at times but I am struggling to see anything starting to change.....lets hope I am wrong

Leaving the players signed in part for their leadership qualities on the bench would seem an odd way of doing that.

People keep going on about the system, we create chances but yesterday we fluffed them. It’s as simple as that
Yup. No idea how many times we have hit the bar this season, but it's awful lot.

Fine margins.

You would think if we had scored first yesterday, we would have gone on to the win the game easily.

I am not too worried on Haji or Simms or whoever either. Too long in the tooth now.

I remember everyone writing Adebola off (me too) and him proving us all wrong and I remember lots of people writing Ben Turner off as nowhere near good enough and what about David McGoldrick? Or David McGoaldrought as he was known when he first arrived.

I know it's hard at times, but you have to give players time. How long, I can't say exactly, but you just can't write people off so soon I don't think.

Yup, frustrating and we are now 12 games in, so I get it and why fans are annoyed and frustrated, it's natural.

I think we will be okay though. We have a great manager in Robins and he has done so well here.

We can't keep missing great chances every week. I can't believe the strikers are that bad and with being a forward, a lot can come down to confidence.

Keep the faith.

Correct, we're just missing better execution now. No need for any knee jerk decisions.

While I agree with the point, how often can we keep missing decent chances? How are they looking on the training pitch? How much time are they spending on their finishing?

We really need to bring in a striker/finishing coach for them.

Yep! We’re holding our own in the championship playing in decent stadiums with good atmospheres. Obviously it would be lovely to be winning every week but can’t knock where we are as a club right now.

Most people seem to think it is the midfield that is the problem. We have two very expensive strikers who have both scored two goals, yet still people blame Eccles.

Not like the manager himself was a top flight striker in his time.

You would have to say that expectation has risen, management of the business and presentation has improved…..however actual quality of the product has lowered, atmosphere has suffered and the prices are not reflecting value now. Opening times seem to be disrupted on a regular basis.

Winning one week might be a start

I know people will get all precious about this but also I do think you’ll have a more chilled perspective if you pick and choose games or just view from a computer

It is more detached than actually going every week when form and entertainment is poor
