There are a few who have had them, I think Bristol City and Ipswich today. Full on Studio Productions for the game.

Do they do everything in house instead of iFollow?

A lot do it

Our off the pitch content is absolutely way off compared to other clubs in the Championship

Probs just the pre-match and then watch the game?

Ipswich just spent millions on a media hub for this exact reason. One of the presenters Alfie something or other was talking about it on the 'my new football club' podcast.

It's a great idea but obviously doesn't come cheap. Also I think saying our output is below par is harsh. It's a bang average ifollow set up in line with 80% of the other clubs, the whole system needs a revamp really. There are a couple of clubs that have taken it on in-house that are outliers.

I watched the pre-match player interviews for the first team earlier and it appeared to be Eakin asking questions using a pair of headphones and a phone on his lap.

It was the sort of thing you’d expect from a League 2 club.

How’s that going to work from next season when ifollow is binned off and Sky take it all over?

The Ipswich one is a separate package called TownTV which costs £5.99 per month and you also need an ifollow watch the match footage but the club fills in the pre match build-up, halftime stuff and post match analysis. They also show the ladies team, reserves and offer more content other than just match day stuff too.

I suppose they will keep the same offer next season to supplement the sky deal. Any coverage of championship stuff on sky is pretty bare bones other than a few pundits. The red button stuff is just commentary so the club adding buildup and analysis isn't a bad idea for spinning a few extra quid
