Unbelievable bedwetting..... We will be fine. Nope we won't make the playoffs but who seriously though we would with the player turnover?

Half the forum ( HMS piss the league) after the transfer business but before any games had been played. Myself included if I’m honest

Are we the only club that buys and sells players then?

The top 6 this time last season included the 2 automatically promoted teams and 4 others who finished outside of the play off positions.

The highest placed team of the 4 who made the play offs was Luton in 10th

Nobody thought we’d be close to the drop zone.
That is definitely true. But we did on the whole seem to think that Simms was a very good signing, as was Kitching, MVE and Thomas.

For whatever reason, it's taken time for some to find their feet and fit in, or it just hasn't worked out yet

Simms puzzles me, because I have seen him before he came to us and thought we had got a top striker on our hands.

I really thought he would fly in this league over a season.

I just think we expected players to be better, sooner than they have been.

No idea what the reason is for that. 🤷

Maybe if he gave simms a chance to start games and give him a run that would help

for what it’s worth I think MVE and Kitching will be great signings

think Thomas, well the jury is out

Not starting Simms yesterday was just as baffling as starting Ayari. If we're valuing what a lost little boy on loan can offer more than a multi million pound striker, it raises questions.

I think the underlying concern is the lack of basics on so many occasions - misplaced passes, crap set pieces, poor goals conceded, so many shots off target, missed 1:1s, poor ball control, strikers caught offside so often. I’m in the ‘time to gel’ and ‘transition season’ camp but the lack of basics is worrying at times and is really holding us back.

Having said that, the attempt to fool the opposition yesterday when Bidwell and Allen broke into their Strictly routine nearly worked - close to (comedy) genius

I don’t think it’s down to the player, personally.
