So according to this we should be around 5th? And of course 5 of the 7 team in that quadrant are in the top 6, so it must have some significance or be a massive coincidence. Middlesbrough also underperforming.

If the conclusion made is that we don't convert enough chances, it's even crazier that's the area we invested most heavily in during the transfer window.

Everyone keeps telling me it's good we're missing chances because at least we're getting them. I hope they're right, but at what point do we decide that's bollocks?

I don't think the stats can ever be bollocks , it shows that as a team we are creating and more than likely will continue to create , it shows we play the right way really .. the main concern now is if the strikers are dud or not .. they simply need to start scoring and surely you imagine they will

If we were like Rotherham and created little and conceded loads of chances against you'd be very concerned

The data shows that are strikers are shit atm .. the team are doing most things pretty well besides this .

They need to start converting , Simms needs his chance

So we’ve spent 10-15 million on strikers and they can’t put the ball in the back of the net consistently enough, I appreciate wright has a decent record

But the biggest thing is we need goals from elsewhere , godden is out of form yet is only 1 behind 2 ipswich forwards..

The reliance on the forwards is too much , it's imperative we get a good midfielder in January

Indeed. Off the top of my head:
Saka 1
Sheaf 1
Eccles 1
Ayari 1
McF 1
MVE 1
Own Goal 5
Lati 1

Allen contributed quite a few last season and he’s been unfit then largely played more centrally. He does at least shooooooot
Yeah, I'd expect Allen to get a few if he stays fit. He gets in the right positions too.

And everyone keeps saying the problem is the central midfielders and the strikers are fine.

I think we’ll go on a bit of a run in the next few games. Back 4 starting to settle. Robins will string Allen/Eccles/Sheaf across the midfield and put O’Hare in behind Simms and Wright. I fancy us to win a fair % of the games pre and over Xmas.
