Up west, in cockney geezer land. It’s normal. People in every city in england call the city centre ‘town’
Hope the Town win tomorrow night. Up the Town.
The Crystal Palace equivalent of this thread would be interesting
Up west, in cockney geezer land.
Apologies if they've been printed elsewhere on here:
You spend your time in smoky rooms
Where haggled old women with cheap perfume say
"It never happens for people like us, you know"
Well, nothing ever happened on its own
And while the toilet smells of desperation
The streets all echo of aggravation
And you wonder why you can't get no sleep
When you've got nothing to do, and you've got nothing to eat
Your life's slipping and sliding right out of view
And there's absolutely nothing that you can do (well)
We'll live and die
We'll live and die in these towns
Don't let it drag you down
Don't let it drag you down, now
We'll live and die
We'll live and die in these towns
Don't let it drag you down
Don't let it drag you down, now
Come on the Town
They must be singing Norwich City songs. They bloody won again - top of the league tonight. Something weird happening there. Hats off to them (P.S. I know that's not what you were referring to)
It helps so much having the away fans nearby. The atmosphere last night wasn't particularly great, but it was 5x better than it would have been (considering it is a night game and the crowd was only 24k) had the Southampton fans been on the other side. Thought their fans were pretty poor - they were loud when they all got going for their one song, but that's about it. Watching and listening to the shite fans that visit the Ricoh really makes you appreciate just how good our travelling lot are.
You are my Town,
My only Town,
You make me happy
When skies are grey,
You’ll never notice
How much I love you,
Until you take my Town away!
La-la-la-la-la …
Cov born and bred. Lived in Rugby 30 years. Love it here.Yes, I only ever leave CV1 to attend the football. How about you?
Noise at kick off is unbelievable at Leicester! All 12 ultras!
Man City make an appearance on some of the kids I’ve seen Ou and about. Little glory hunters. I hope they weep. And I see more and more cov tops all the time .. great to see
It may surprise you but I have absolutely no idea what song Man Utd sing for Martial. What's the tune?Someone in Dhillon's was trying to get this song going last night. Same tune Man United use for their Antony Martial song.
Ellis Simms is our number 9,
And Sakamoto runs down the line,
The Championship said we'd overpaid,
As Haji Wright scores a goal again

Crap ancient song with some semi decent lyrics.Decent song by United but Martial literally has been £50m down the drain.
We'll Live and Die in These Towns is getting a lot of love from other fans.
Good rendition on Friday.
You can't get no satisfaction.
But if try sometimes you might find you get what you need.I want us to run out to 'Blood and Thunder' by Mastodon but you can't always get what you want!
You're better than thisSeems fitting for how he plays and is a bit of a banger:
Get around, ‘round, ‘round he gets around
Yeah Sakamoto he gets around
With a twist and a turn
Running down the wiiiiing
Gets around, ‘round, ‘round he gets around
My best is a slice of Eccles Cake that the orchestral leaders in Block 16 haven’t seen fit to adoptYou're better than this
