And you weren’t even playing, hats offI can remember going from an all nighter straight to a Sunday League game, scoring a bullet header in the 2nd minute, puking in the 6 yard box, going off and sleeping on the sidelines for the rest of the game
Because Ayari is crap and lightweight to boot.Really don’t understand why people want three centrebacks over Ayari
But probably still a better midfield option than McFadzeanBecause Ayari is crap and lightweight to boot.
On the contrary I’d expect plenty of goals. Assuming some of our players bring their shooting boots that is.There's always an argument for not changing a winning team, but that's a brave set up considering Southampton are a far far better team than Brum, and are in good form.
I'd of started Eccles and dropped Simms to the bench, but at least it gives Simms and Wright a chance to show what they can do.
I think this will be a tight game with only 1 goal in it.
Rather bring Lati, Eccles or Palmer on before Ayari. But probably still a better midfield option than McFadzean
Smallbone in for them, ripped us apart for Stoke last season.Southamptons team looks so strong.
Still fancy a result though.
Bit random but he did look Millwall’s best player in that one game. MVE is still the better of the two though. Not really associated with tonight's game, but anyone else wish we could have signed Brook Norton-Cuffey on a permanent? I thought he was a good player. I watched the Millwall game and he was a bit quiet for them, and we won 3-0, but I watched the play-off final again last night on Sky and it made me think that we should have tried to sign him. Thoughts anyone?
Think MvE is a huge upgrade on him and Lati is a more than capable back upNot really associated with tonight's game, but anyone else wish we could have signed Brook Norton-Cuffey on a permanent? You’d expect him to have more of a future being 10 years younger!Happy for Simms to be starting. As harsh as it sounds he may have more of a future here than Godden so he needs time to grow if we want goals out of him.
Those were the days. Straight to the Memorial Park from Wigan Casino, a couple of pints in the Jules Verne afterwards, Sunday lunch at home and then fall into a deep sleep almost equivalent to a coma and then back down the pub Sunday night. In bed by eleven these days...I can remember going from an all nighter straight to a Sunday League game, scoring a bullet header in the 2nd minute, puking in the 6 yard box, going off andsleeping on the sidelines for the rest of the game
So you think he's quicker than O'Hare Saka and Allen? He really doesn’t , that is just one of a few stupid throwaway comments made about him .
They're not a quick break team0-2 Southampton. Defence twice caught out by quick Southampton breaks...
Fear the worst, but as my prediction record is dire there is always hope

Bit of a hostage to fortune that one....They're not a quick break team
