We went to League 2 grounds with better away ends than this. '£50 for this shit hole'

When you build your squad in such a fashion that you only have one obvious starting XI in your best formation then it’s inevitably going to get weird when you have to rest players. We can’t just run out the same 4-3-3 all through December until O’Hare/Wright/Sakamoto etc have run themselves into the ground.

Keep it tight. Bring if Cal and Haji for the last half hour. You may disagree with the strategy but that’s clearly what it is. Dasilva has played LW before, he is clearly worried about the threat down the flanks.

Yes we have no idea about the fitness of individual players.

Robins: ‘We’re Coventry City, puff your chests out’

SBT: Adopts fetal position and cries

Funny, but it also feels a bit like...

MR to Press: "We're CCFC! Puff your chests out."

MR to squad: "We're CCFC... but just defend, k?"

This is a fair post. Let's hope we can get some business done in January.

Lati in midfield? Some of the posters having a go at posters who suggest this might want to pipe down lol

Da Silva on left of a front 3 or we packing midfield?

I'm disappointed as want us to just pay away like we do home but it could work!

And some mugs have paid £45 a ticket to watch us play for a 0-0 with 2 defenders in midfield positions.

Has he learnt nothing for Ipswich ??? Fucking bonkers team selection

100% & he's right to be worried by that.
Think it's the right call going defensive but we do need to offer a counter threat which is difficult to envisage with the XI chosen.

Yes it seems odd not to play Wright if we want to play on the break. Not a lot of pace in that team.

Robins has tried this strategy a few times and it has never really worked. Hopefully it does today.

We're clearly targeting the next 3 games for points.

We haven't recruited for 4-3-3 so when we need to rotate players the players who come in are going to be out of position until we can sort it out over January.

The plan is set out sit tight and take it as deep as we can without conceding. Then when they get frustrated and take risks we have players to exploit the space.

Its a very obvious plan and nothing new but one that can go tits up quick its like Robins is truly still trying to find answers to away lack of points.

Free swing and definitely feels like it.

I get the logic, we could go there ad attack and maybe win but in all likely hood they blow us away early doors so tryand keep it tight

not saying it will work but it's not "insane" like some folk seem to think
