Sent you a DM @Blind-Faith will happily teach you a lesson in respect you prick
Love that you've sent him a private message but then publicly tell everyone about it. He's made a bellend comment and now you're offering someone out on a faceless Internet forum 🤣🤣

I've never seen a football result affect someone so badly,
It's not normal and he needs help, perhaps a symptom ofa deeper lying issue

Can you advise me where I’ve disrespected him? I’ve wished him a full recovery like everyone else on here?

Perhaps the one private messaging people offering them a good old fashioned kicking, should take a look at themselves aswell? It’s a football forum after all 😂

Some insensitive comments on this thread can we not just pay respects to Lockyer and leave it and keep it on him rather than be a twat? I know he is not dead but it is scary when someone just passes out like that especially for the second time

I hope mine doesn't come across insensitive. Was just too temptingly set up by clint for me to pass.

Apologise if it was offended anyone.

Let's not try to take the moral high ground too much, regarding keeping it respectful. I doubt this is first place Tom or his family are looking in on. BF made a couple of shitty posts and rightly called out on it, but we literally have a death list full of that and sometimes worse, mostly meant in jest and sometimes missing the mark, a little like ccfc4life above who we all know would've meant no malice. Even Prodoc threatening to beat him up isn't really in line with respect even if it is quite funny.

Also why do you have a USA avatar BF? Have I missed something? You were constantly changing to whoever Luton were playing which was odd, but had that for a while now.

He has an obsession and it’s just weird

Didn't realise he'd had heart surgery after the play off final. Suspect there will be questions asked about him being given the all clear and returning to football so quickly. He was back before Jamie Allen wasn't he?

Brilliant news that he's stable but you can't imagine he'll play again but sure Luton will find a role for him if he wants one.

Retiring now hopefully better than in the summer for him. He's lived that dream of captaining his team in the premier league and nobody can ever take that from him. Hopefully had a contract that can set him up for life if he looks after it. Got a young family too, so hope he makes the right decision.

In a show of support for our star striker, who has markedly improved the last few games.

Literally the worst advice to someone whose 3 and half years sober 😂

Please don’t ever get a job relating to addiction issues 🙏

I know something about these issues

Sobriety is supposed to give you inner peace, spiritual awareness and remove the resentment and anger you have been harbouring for years

It’s just not working

I was stunned to hear the news about Tom Lockyer while I was following the football reports on BBC. Some of you may know that I have survived four heart attacks, had a double bypass, and had 5 stents inserted over the years. My bypass was back in 2002 and my last heart attack was in 2018. I sure know how Tom's family must feel right now. But from a survivor (up to now!), I will just say, give up footie, take care of yourself and family and carry on enjoying life without the physical stress. (Picture is of me after heart op.)
