It's not, but his point stands that we've given ourselves a far bigger mountain to climb, it's not impossible.

You can’t compare. Different teams different league. We had a settled side last year this one is getting better as it gels.

And this one needs to gel to the tune of 7 or 8 more points!
I'm not ruling us out, but I'm not booking my Wembley travel and accomodation either

Tbh the 'gelling' was overplayed on here. We gelled pretty much the moment we changed to a formation that suited this group of players. I've no doubt if we did it sooner we'd have gelled sooner.

I reckon we'll end up around 10th and in a position to give it a proper go next season and hopefully be in the top 6 consistently. If we were to invest another £5-£10 in the summer, as well as a bit in January, you'd like to think we could mount a challenge for the top 2. Wright is looking quality and a lot more assured; Simms will kick on next season I reckon.

We wouldn't have because for several games Kelly would have been 1 of the 3 midfielders, I just couldn't have seen it working.

And would Robins have dropped Fadz or played him in a 2?

His enforced absence made the desicion for him and its worked out well in footballing terms.

We only just sneaked in last year. I think we've left ourselves too much to do personally.

We've played one more game and have 3 less points at this stage.

Get your point BUT we snuck in with 7 games to go. Doesn't matter if we sneak in on the last game of the season. It's where you are after 46 games, not midway through the season

Would hope to invest more than a tenner

Finding the best formation is part of gelling.

Though our form was poor in the run of games around and immediately after the midway point. Win these two games at home and we're in a better position than we were last season.

Yeah, had a poor Christmas and January, so we should hopefully improve on that
