Why would people want to drop Simms in the most 'winnable' game we have had in ages?

Was not at his best against Sunderland but put in good shifts, feeding off scraps against two of the top teams recently. He needs a chance to show what he can do in a game where we (should) have a bit more of the ball.

Regardless of his goal scoring form we've played really well with him stretching the opponents back lines . Godden doesn't have the ability to do the same

Simms is just as effective when he's not scoring. He is a threat (albeit diminished) so a CB has to mark him. If he can hold balls up and pull CBs out of position to allow room for others to get into those gaps, we have the ability to create a lot more chances on target.

Noone I'd swap him for in our current squad. He should play if he's fit.

Exactly this - 2 players on him make the room for O Hare and Saka

Will there be printed lyrics for WLADITT?

[Verse 1]
You spend your time in smoky rooms
Where haggled old women with cheap perfume say
"It never happens for people like us, you know"
Well, nothing ever happened on its own
And while the toilet smells of desperation
The streets all echo of aggravation
And you wonder why you can't get no sleep
When you've got nothing to do, and you've got nothing to eat
Your life's slipping and sliding right out of view
And there's absolutely nothing that you can do (well)

[Chorus]
We'll live and die
We'll live and die in these towns
Don't let it drag you down
Don't let it drag you down, now
We'll live and die
We'll live and die in these towns
Don't let it drag you down
Don't let it drag you down, now

[Verse 2]
Dirty dishes from a TV meal
That went cold from the wind through a smashed up window
You can't go out if anybody calls you
'Cause you can't have a bath when there's no hot water
And your friends are out on the town again
And you ask yourself if it'll ever end
And it's all too much for your head to take
Just a matter of time before you break (well)

[Chorus]
We'll live and die
We'll live and die in these towns
Don't let it drag you down
Don't let it drag you down, now
We'll live and die
We'll live and die in these towns
Don't let it drag you down
Don't let it drag you down, now

Makes sense to give a few some rest with three in what? 9 days?

Swansea on Friday, it'll be 3 in 7 days. Enough to push top class pros as well as our cloggers ;)

Good use of the squad. Can see Bidwell being subbed in the second half to save him for the Swansea game. I imagine Palmer will get a decent run out too

I appreciate it. But there are wrong words in this 👍🏻

Chorus looks right. Took it off a Google search as I don't know the song personally.

He's dropped because we need goals, and so far he's only scored in 1 game.
And as you correctly pointed out, he's wasn't at his best at Sunderland, so doesn't justify a start ahead of our top scorer.

Any streams for todays game? I'm a season ticket holder unable to make it today as I'm away.
