Any confidence in a victory today ? (2 Viewers)

As much as I am satisfied with the win, and I am happy, I really am, I barely even celebrated yesterday.

When we scored I assumed we'd concede.
When the final whistle blew it was relief more than joy. I don't think this is a win to celebrate if results in the next few weeks don't go our way too.

Is this a typical response? Am I normal? Is it indicative of how low the club has fallen that I struggle to get excited about it at the moment, or is it that more about the fact that I'm becoming bored with football in general? Are the two fundamentally linked?

Strangely enough, I felt the same 1nil... When we went 1 up I actually said to the missus, "Bugger! we've scored first! That's it, we've lost again!" I felt better at the final whistle, but as I said at post #34, I felt really deflated to see our actual league position hadn't changed. We're still in the relegation zone.

1nil & HH im the same.

When it turned the radio on, i'd missed the first 10 minutes of the match. When they said we were 1-0 up all i could think was "we're gonna struggle to keep this". Couldn't believe the amount of chances they messed up (especially Macca's 1 on 1 with the keeper...) and i was releaved when the whistle went.

I felt happy we'd won but at the same time I felt Jaded because I just couldn't help thinking this isn't going away anytime soon and we'll be playing games like this for at least another 5 games in an ideal situation or 10 in a worst case scenario :(

Finding it hard to see the good side in anything when it comes to my club right now...sad really!

I guessed at 2-1 to us and I see no reason to change from that stance.

I'm pretty certain we will win yesterday and would now most definitely put my money where my mouth is on this..
