I did make the game unfortunately. Sheffers was pretty poor in my opinion (although the entire team was dreadful for most of the match). I was hoping for him to be subbed at half time. He did a couple of good things, but these were overshadowed by the fact that he had poor control, and gave away a free kick nearly every time he got near the ball.

He did really well to nick the ball and create a one on one chance, but how he then failed to score is beyond me! The other good thing that comes to mind is a great pass he made when he ran to the wing. Pulled it back in exactly the right place for a late run from midfield, but there was nobody there.

All in all Mousa looked the better player when he came on I think (he actually turned with the ball and looked to play it to feet!)

I thought he did well and caused them problems. Should have scored in the first half when he dispossessed their player on the edge of the box. Also probably would have scored in the 2nd half if mcGoldrick hadn't been so greedy,

I think he deserves to start the next game.

General play was quite poor but as is usually the case he still almost scored more and created more than baker moussa and fleck have in all the games he was out

Didn't attend the game, so obviously can't comment on his overall performance. However the highlights on sky sports are dominated by good play by McSheffrey, the guy can create and score, his pedigree shows that.
He's not the sort of player to chase the opponents and run himself into the ground, which understandably frustrates fans. Nevertheless I still think he can offer a bit of quality in the final third!

No he hasn't, but he's not played a lot of football and is yet to have any sort of run in the side. Last season he bagged 9 goals in a side that finished 2nd bottom and the season before that 10 goals.

I know he's not always started but he has played some part in 14 of our 19 (I think) games so far this season (including cup games), thats over 70%.

Where as Cody has played in only 12 (5 from the bench) and has scored 3. Kilbane is similar with 12 appearances and 2 goals.

None of them are exactly prolific (bar DM), but both have played less games and scored more goals.

I'm worried whether he will really will come good this season.

In league football there is a 2 minute difference in minutes played for Sheff and Mcdonald

Weren't at the game but I wouldn't start with Sheff personally. I would start with Moussa, not with Moussa in a CM 442 role like he has played so far this season. I would play him in a more advanced role

agreed he should be a striker (i believe thats how he started his career with us). But, is he better than elliot/cody/ball?
