Wouldn’t be too bad of a draw in my view if we take a lot of fans in spite of the league game if they make tickets cheap - could be an MK dons away (2018) type day

Wednesday made wholesale changes in the 3rd round against Cardiff, I presume they likely will do again with the league at the front of their minds. Will be very winnable if we choose to put out a full strength team.

We played them 7th March and the 14th March
I misread it and thought you were talking about FA cup games at Hillsborough in that year.
League at home and then away in cup were consecutive. I do remember the 1-0 win at home as someone pointed out Dean Emerson crocked and a big loss and he never recovered properly.

Really don't know what people wanted. My personal choice would have been a comfortable home match, of course Villa away would have been special.

Surely happiest away ground for Coventry City and chance for lots of fans to go.We also had a good general record there although I did go to a FA Cup defeat there when they were a league below and a 5-1 hammering in Dions era.

Personally been to all the so called 'big clubs' grounds countless times in our 34 stretch in top league and seem them at home countless times obviously.

Was that 1984, think it was a midweek after first being postponed to the weather, 2-1 up but lost 3-2, Gibbo got both

Doesn't really matter. Get what you get. Would just be nice to get a more interesting tie than someone we play twice already (and twice before in the prior month too!). On the plus side it's winnable (sure they'll see it the same way).

If we have a replay, it'll likely be Tuesday 6th Feb or Wednesday 7th Feb, which means potentially playing them 4 times in 42/43 days.

What an absolute bag of boring wank this is, club from the same league, who we play the week before, away from home again, which means a Saturday 3pm home gets moved. Fucking terrible draw
