Managerial idea? (2 Viewers)

With our game against Arlesey on saturday, I was thinking why doesn't Robins get in one or two of the players from '88 who lost to Sutton to chat to the players after or before a training session.
They can talk to them about having to be at your best and not switching off because they're a 'lesser' team. The feelings they had after the loss and for the players to make sure they don't experience those same feelings.
As most of us (including myself) are expecting a 3+ - 0 result, are the players expecting the same? Nuneaton showed us in the friendly pre-season that if we're slacking or waiting for something to happen we can lose.
It may just add that little bit more to the players when saturday comes around. As Clive Woodward and Dave Brailsford say adding 1% over multiple areas that shouldn't effect the game (non-critical essentials) can provide the team with that advantage.

Yes, take advice from a team that lost to a non league team on how not to lose to a non league team. Cracking idea.

Id rather we go all out to try to entertain the fans, dont treat it as a friendly, 100% only!

Sorry Sir. Alex, bare in mind a club brings in Sport psychologist consultants and biomechanist consultants, what's wrong with bringing in people who have experienced what the players are currently feeling (potentiall over confident/complacent) and explain the implications of that like any other consultant in their respected fields. And i realise their not 'consultants' but as people who have been in their situation, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea.

I would put cody on. His fitness should be better than theirs and a few goals would help his confidence

Take nothing for granted, they will chase and kick anything that moves, I doubt if it will be as easy as everyone seems to think it will be. I'd take a win of any sort.
