I'd hate to burst your bubble but Forest and Derby fan bases are not bigger then Leicester.

From European football statistics from the year 1889 to 2023, Leicester rank 17th overall in English football with an average attendance of 19,764, Derby are next ranked 20th with 18,598, Forest are ranked at 22nd with 18,548 and Coventry rank at 25th with an average attendance of 17,196.

Let's not get into our social media following or popularity dwarfs all 3 of your clubs combined on all platforms, we're ranked 7th overall in England.

Leicester shirt sales are also top 10 in England.

A quick Google search will confirm all this thank you. FACTS.
What you are missing is passion.

I can't believe how quiet your support is. You're running away with the division but you still need your players to get the supporters going. If we were running away with it you would hear us from Leicester each home game.

I'd prefer to be a supporter of a club that's going places with passionate supporters than a club that had an excellent period because someone put a lot of money into the club.

It will be difficult for you from now. You're too good for the Championship but would get slaughtered in the Prem. You would need a near full rebuild of Prem quality players. You most probably can't do that.

Next years relegation battle is going to be a right laugh at your place.

Admin need to get on top and remove some of these Leicester accounts - it’s ruining the forum. Some of the Leicester lot will actually engage fairly, whilst others like Hackneyfox and this new plum Vixs are here just on the wind-up.
This is like a bag of nuts that has the warning label 'may contain nuts'. The title is Leicester. It may contain nutters.

Hackers is fine. Always respectful. Good for the banter. If you don't like a bit if banter just scroll by.

Can’t be arsed with all the tit for tat nonsense. Sadly they are running away with this division for a reason . Their new manager has got them playing much more effective football and there are other teams in the Prem that would be below them. All that said this is one match and anything can happen. If our best players are on form and we can snuff out that Dewsbury Hall character then we’ve got a chance.

I know I'm new here but why are some lot from Leicester flapping their gums on a Cov fans forum, even in the early hours of the morning! Sounds a bit obsessed...

Not only reading comments, but also taking the time to create an account on their side would make me feel dirty. Nah, could never be me.
Not bad coming from someone who has just created an account to have a go at people making accounts that they have had for years 🤣🤣🤣

Thats the difference between us and them. They are in a decline. Yes they will go up this year, but they will just struggle again once in the PL. The overall trend for them is a decline from 2016.
We're still in the ascendency. We know that next season will be better than this one, and the one after that will be even better.

On every metric we're improving month on month. Leicester will at best maintain their position

Most football supporters are short sighted. It is all about the present season and nothing else.

We were the same. That's what took us from the Prem to the old Division 4 with a side struggling most weeks in a short amount of time. Facing the fact that we could lose our league status was sobering. Hoping to cement our place in League 2 😂 I remember threads on the line of will we ever reach the Prem again.

We have improved our league position every season since them dark days. Only promotion this season would continue this run but I'll be happy with the playoffs considering it's a new team. Then if still a Championship side next season we will start with a squad that's strong and a close unit. It will be fun.

Clueless, Leicester and Forest was the original derby, until the Cloughie thing between the two clubs is where Derby became Forest main rivals.

And now it means very little and you know it.

Thank you, but the fact is Leicester City have alway been the best supported club in the East Midlands. Forest especially have this myth their massive, no their a provincial club nothing more.

Only because of the success of the past 10 odd years.

Before that, Forest and Derby had a higher average historic attendance.

At this point after all these years Hackney is like a part of the furniture. He’s also a bit of a plastic Leicester fan being from Warwickshire.

Me too on the rivalry front. Villa every time. Moldovan, John Gregory getting sacked in the morning……… That said a full Arena and the atmosphere we can create in it, like we did for the Birmingham City game last season, gets my pulse racing. C’mon you Sky Blues

I looked it up and both Forest and Derby are bigger clubs I'm afraid. Also, Leicester shirt sales are high because they were being flogged in B&M for a pound.

Are we really still arguing about which is the best city or biggest club? FFS, what a waste of pixels.

Bless, but those FACTS suggest not, fair play to Forest though for their honours, Derby a one club village like Cov.

It's a pity their not arsed about you

As for the other replies I just came to set a few post right about much bigger Derby an Forest fan bases are then Leicester, when history suggest Leicester has the biggest. Thank you Chaventry forum for the chance to post on here. Jamie Vardy bigger and more known globally then you.

He's right though. Hackney might have a pass for his years of service but these others need to be fucked off. I sincerely hope we don't have anyone equally sad posting on their forum.

Thank you and all of your friends for coming on to the Coventry City FC message board to remind us (often and consistently) how not bothered about us you are!
