They have no pace at the back so Simms better option but will wait and see.Probably in because he spat his dummy out.

Probably lay off Godden a bit, I'm not enthused by him atm but he knows where the goal is so let's hope something drops to him. Palmer has been very good recently too, although Wright is clearly a loss.

He doesn't want the team to crash in the last 15 minutes like in the last game against them. He'll bring Simms on for the last 30 minutes for an energy boost.

Palmer has been good since coming back from injury and Godden scored two last week. Have faith
I agree that Palmer has been good, but I don’t think this is the right game for him on the left. They’ve got class wingers and full backs so our wingers are going to have to put in a real defensive shift and I’m not sure Palmer is capable of that.

Palmer starting on the left

Simms on Bench

Disappointing.

In a game where I expect we’ll need to break quickly and make the ball stick, Godden wouldn’t be the first choice.

I also really like Simms and am desperate for him to score and get that weight off his mind.

Looking positively; Godden feels his has a point to prove and scored twice in his last appearance, and Simms is a strong option off the bench and will (hopefully) get a solid 30 minutes at least.

Yep. Could work. Godden has a point to prove that he should be starting.

Godden normally invisible in games like this against technically sound defenders - let’s hope Palmer and sakamoto are at it today

If Godden has another performance like his last couple of starts he needs putting back in his box TBH. Confidence is once thing, arrogance another.
