Sheaf was good for 80 , o hare scored 2 , can't decide between them but I actually think Sheaf was the best player on the pitch
I thought Thomas was below par most of the game , seemed very hesitant in possession. Got better as the game went on though

Palmer was a 7 minimum. All our best moves 1st half came through him. He did fade 2nd half though. Thought Eccles had a good game so a 7 there too. Otherwose agree

My score for Palmer seems harsh, but I really felt he was our worst player today so have to mark him lower than Godden and Thomas. He kepted getting beaten to the ball by defenders, his touch was poor, his attempted through balls were well over hit. He slowed us down far too much in the second half, which made it easy for Leicester. Across the first and second half we had created really just the O'Hare chance and Goddens header in 78 mins, Simms came on we started playing the ball quicker and scored 3 in 10 mins.

I think sometimes palmer does too much or is too slow to release the ball ..
Today felt like he had lots of those moments , 6 is not bad , it's just average isn't it
It's this and that he also occupies the same space that O'Hare likes to take up and isn't as effective. I don't think it is a coincidence that O'Hare scored basically as soon as Palmer went off.

Was also infuriating how many times he tried the exact same move of knocking the ball forward and trying to run onto it. He must have done it 7 or 8 times and I think he lost possession every single time. Definitely think there is a place for him in the squad but I think he's better off the bench against tired defences.

Agree with the plaudits for Sheaf, O’Hare and MVE.

Thought Eccles did well alongside Sheaf as well. Right tactical sub to bring him off, but he did well.

Sakamoto brilliant again.

Dasilva did well when he came on too, got us up the pitch more.

Sheafs Stats are ridiculous:
118 touches
97 passes (87.6% completion)
5 long passes (completed 3)
1 through ball
5 tackles
4 interceptions

Allen is an excellent impact sub. Busy little fecker, perfect against tired legs.

Loving how we now have genuine options to come on and effect the game.

Although I do feel there is a massive Sean Maguire shaped hole on our bench 😂

Palmer was poor and showed against strong teams at this level he does have obvious weaknesses. We would have lost if he played 90 minutes - a seven minimum is laughable

Collins 6 Short game is great but his long passes are suspect

MVE 7 One of his poorer games for the first 80 minutes but showed his value once the game opened up
Thomas 6 Sloppy with the ball at times
Kitching 7 He is a top Championship CB
Bidwell 6 Turned out to be the wrong game for his skillset

Sheaf 8 MOTM He breaks up opposition attacks better than any midfielder I’ve seen this year
Eccles 7 Energetic and positive, corners were good
O’Hare 8 Supremely talented, if the finishing we saw today continues he’s a top 10 AM

Sakamoto 7 A constant threat and targeted heavily by Leicester
Godden 7 Worked very hard and linkup play was very good
Palmer 6 Enjoyably tricky early on but faded badly in the second half to the point where he really needed to come off

Dasilva 7 Posed more problems to Leicester than Bidwell and helped open up the game
Allen 7 Full of running as usual
Simms 7 Gave Leicester’s right side something to think about

Another masterclass from Robins all in all

Again another all round 7 out of 10 with O’Hare mom
Superb all round performance.
Thought our defence passes could have been better first half, sloppy ball out led to their pen, but got better.

Palmer is anything but average. Love the way he and O’Hare combine together. Not everything he does works but he’s always trying to play that pass and be that game changer. I love seeing him on the pitch.

Just got back home to Hampshire, great day, fantastic last 15.

Sheaf and OHare outstanding.
Godden tried hard and nice touches first half but overall ineffective and no threat.
