Bit much for the Twitter poster to suggest it’s Sunak who’s making the bets. It’s just Morgan goading him into it and Sunak shakes his hand

The fact is the numbers are pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things and Rwanda being signed off isn’t going to make a material difference anyway.

Why did he shake his hand then instead of telling him to fuck off and grow up

Always a chance it's been clipped to get more headlines but the PM having a £1000 charity bet with a broadcaster about whether he'll send any immigrants to Rwanda feels.....off

Geezer's got a spare grand to have a fun bet with.
That's twenty bags.

Legend!

Going by my back of a fag packet maths, that's nine years of meals according to Lee Anderson.

What a pair of wankers.

It’s an effective way though. Point is we should all be aware of quite how fringe our own hobby horses are to an organisation trying to get votes. Rightly it not three times as many people care about over spending than Palestine. Which you wouldn’t grok from reading left wing commentary.
I wonder how effective it would actually be if the polls were actually open now.

There's a lot of Conservative voters that when push comes to shove will stick the X in the Tory box because they don't trust Labour even if the do announce policies that would seem far more suited to a Tory than Labour government,

I think it'll be heavily reliant on the fact of just how much the Tories have fucked it up meaning that Labour voters disenfranchised with the policies being put forward won't withhold/change their vote and are basically being taken for granted.

Labour seem to be chasing the votes of people who are unlikely to vote for them regardless at the risk of turning a large number of people who would off them.

There’s no evidence for that though. The number of people saying they’re not voting Labour because they’re too right wing is tiny, and they’re likely to end up voting Labour anyway. You always campaign towards the center because that’s where the votes are. It’s a normal distribution pretty much.

you could flip it round though and say when push comes to shove most Labour supporters currently not that happy with starmer, will still vote Labour. Both parties have entrenched support that won’t budge whatever is on offer from their own/the other side, which I’ve always found a bit strange. It’s why the middle ground needs to be won in order to win the election

BBC News - Parents urge councillors to apologise over special needs comments

That is absolutely disgusting.

They have since apologised, but they should be forced to resign.

Sunak makes anti trans jibe to Starmer at PMQs with Brianna Ghey's mother in the public gallery.

Odious little shit.

So you don’t know what he said?
He attacked Starmer for his "definition of a woman" i.e. that he thinks trans women are women. All in front of a murdered kids mum.

Does the social know you are on here and not searching for jobs?

You really don't or you wouldn't be the sad pathetic shell of a man you are on here.

The fact you think it is okay says everything that needs to be said about you. Lower than vermin is what you are.

Yawn - what is ironic is that I think the two murderers should be put down and got rid of - the majority on here portray them as victims and deserving of rehabilitation

It's pretty scummy behaviour alright. The mask always slips.

Im actually very happy thanks.

It’s interesting that one poster left this forum after being insulted partly due to being transgender - and I was one of the few who defended said poster. Also the abuse Nikki Sinclair had with snide jibes - many of which had to be deleted - and again I was one of the few who defended Ms Sinclair

A sad, sad odious old man with nothing more in his life than the false thrill of trying to pretend he is in some way better than people on the internet.

At last David you are having a moment of self realisation

Sunak is asked to apologise for the remark, and refuses.

He's an awful c**t. And way worse at this than I expected - he is so entrenched in his privileged bubble that he can't read the room, can't take any criticism, and basically struggles to interact with people in a normal way.

This will not play well for him, I expect there to be quite a backlash over this.
