He played Lati, Eccles and O'Hare against Bristol. Not trusting his fitness he brought Torp on later. Playing Lati totally in line with MR's 'safety first' approach. Hope to be proved overly gloomy
I think he only played Latibeaudiere in midfield because both Torp and Kelly weren't sufficiently fit. Both of those are much better than him in midfield but I like him in defence.

Feels like you're deliberately ignoring the next game, away at a good side where he started Torp and Eccles.

The calls to play JDS seem a bit premature to me. As a fanbase we get very carried away if a player has one good game, or one bad game. He has been really poor this season and whilst he did play well against SW, I wouldn't be in a rush to play him if Bidwell is fit.

That being said, I don't feel Norton-Cuffy is really any kind of threat whatsoever. He'll probably score now though!

He was half decent going foward towards the tail end of last season for us. In the limited times I've seen Millwall highlights, he is playing a similar game. Get's forward and runs at his man. He'll be one to watch on Sunday.

In the away fixture Norton-Cuffy was a real threat for a good chunk of the first half and all their attacks came down his side. Bidwell struggled as he was being overloaded because he didn't get any help from Wright.

Then we tweaked the formation a bit and had Allen on the left of a midfield three and it shored that side up and BNC was very quiet (and Bidwell was able to get forward more).

Why? We've scored loads more this season without anyone hitting double figures yet. He needs to improve but we're doing fine with him in the side.
I agree he needs to improve, but the only tangible proof of his improvement as a striker can only be measured by scoring goals. He really needs to start tucking away chances more often than not (like the gilt-edged one he missed vs Sheff Wed the other night). I think there will be opportunities for him against Millwall and all I’m saying is he needs to put them away.

Yeah, fair. He had one golden chance vs. Sheff Weds away and another in the replay. He's not missing loads, but he can't keep missing chances that good and expect to start games.

Kitching is banned still so I expect Binks will come in place of him. Whether Thomas displaces Lats is the main question as he was captain the other night and may continue in the role in the absence of Sheaf / Kitching?

Josh Eccles captain.

Bidwell is on a run of poor form, similar to the start of the season when he came on TBH. Dasilva had a good game. It would be pretty poor man management IMO to not reward that.

I think it is a really close call. Dasilva started the season well but his form went down and Bidwell was rightly brought in and played well to justify his position. But Bidwell has gone through a similar drop off in performances in recent weeks.

Norton-Cuffy could be a threat in this game as we know he is a strong player. I do wonder whether Bidwell's better defensive capability might be useful in this one despite his form. I think we probably have enough going forward to compensate for the loss of Dasilva's more attacking threat.

Used to go and watch them occasionally when I lived in Deptford, the stand to the left of the away fans was an interesting experience.

After Bristol, If Lati plays in midfield I will be very disappointed. But sadly I expect he will. I would have Vik, Josh and Callum myself

It is commonly being said that Saka needs a rest. I just wonder if teams have done their homework in advance and have worked out what he does. What we are actually seeing is a lack of effectiveness. The opposition are under instructions to get him to cut in and as high up the pitch as possible. They are not stupid. This is now a measure of just how good a long term asset Saka is.
I don't think Saka is a one trick pony but I'm with you on this . Teams become very aware of players who can influence

Slightly worried about Saka’s lack of energy of late . I know he is being singled out for a lot of rough treatment & like at Norwich , they really targeted him, but we don’t have a Michael Doyle here anymore to dish some back & once he’s hit , I think he struggles to get back into the game .

Needs more back up from his team mates. Get in the ref’s ear, crowd around the dude fouling him etc

Robins must be looking at the fact we have 3 games in 6 days. Allen & Sheaf out until mid March too. I think Sakamoto has looked a little jaded since the Leicester game. I'd rest him until Stoke. I'd start Kelly in CM, with Torp, and Simms wide right on Sunday. Wright, Simms & Palmer could rotate during the game. Bradley Stretton has been on the bench recently. wide forward. Is he an option off the bench at all, along with Tavares?

With Allen & Sheaf out, Kelly is going to be needed over the next few weeks. He needs game time. Was excellent earlier in the season

I disagree that he's been really poor! The first 2 months of the season I thought he was one of our best players (although that wasn't too difficult at the time). He's got something to offer for sure and was brilliant on Tuesday. I like Bidwell but he has had a few shaky performances, the first Wednesday away game he was abysmal so I'm not quite sure why he gets a free pass but JDS gets called really poor. I'm content with whoever he goes with at left back for now, but in general I would like good performances to be rewarded

I think he has been a poor signing in general so far. A lot of bad performances where he has been standout for the wrong reasons.

I agree he played well earlier in the week (against a pretty weak and second string Sheffield Wednesday), but I do not agree that he was good earlier in the season. There was much talk on here about why he was playing and why he had the position when Bidwell was there. As soon as Bidwell came back in it was clear there was light and day between the two of them. It seemed baffling that JDS had been playing all along and why the manager was picking him, and it was called out by many.

Like I said before, even if your view is different on the player in this occasion; our fans do knee-jerk on one good game or one bad game. Simms against Leeds was another wank-fest that ended up being short lived. Over history JDS hasn't impressed me at all. Whilst Bidwell has not played too well in the last couple of games, I still don't fancy swapping him out for JDS.

I don’t see it as deep as that. JDS played well on Tuesday so there’s calls for him to start on Sunday. Also partially fuelled by Bidwell’s underpar performances recently.

Don’t think there’s a ‘wank fest’ in this instance, just a fair debate.

From the club's match day guide -

Turnstiles open at 10:30am - the advised turnstile for entry is shown on your ticket, but you can use any turnstile if you wish to avoid any queues.

We will be trialling two improved queue barrier systems to help deal with ingress density/flow during our busy period prior to kick off. They will be Turnstiles T12-15 in the East Stand and T36-43 in the North Stand. We will be advising fans on the ground with effective stewarding/loud halers.

Most turnstiles close at Midday (kick-off time) but late turnstiles, which remain open until half-time, are numbers 18 (East Stand) and 45 (West/North Stand).

Fans are advised to arrive early on Sunday.

You are also advised to have your Season Card or Match Ticket ready to be scanned as you approach the turnstile - this speeds up entry for all supporters.

Tuesday Night:

In the lead up to Tuesday night’s match, there was a malfunction with the East Stand turnstiles at the Arena which lead to delays entering the stadium for some fans and resulted in a move to manual entry on turnstiles.

Fans were advised to use alternative turnstiles at the Arena to help gain access following the turnstile malfunction, which was an isolated incident and was resolved on the night.

We would like to apologise to fans for this issue.

Where are turnstiles 42-45, we have opted for the West Stand tomorrow for a change. Are they through the Atrium or at the corner with the North stand 🤷‍♂️
I imagine the queues are quieter there ?
