Just seen a new hospitality ticket open for the Maidstone match:

All inclusive food & drink, with a balcony seat for £105

Several street food style offerings.

Hopefully may start to fill up the always empty seats up there.

Good to see them trying things but not sure these will fly out at those prices for a game unlikely to sell out

You'd have to spend the whole game eating and knocking back pints to get your moneys worth!

Although having said that most of us thought there was no way people would pay for the Mill membership and that seems to be sold out

Yeah I think it is steep really at £105.

Not sure how much a seat would cost individually up there, but lets say its £60. So £45 for your food and drink. Think you'd need to get a good 6-8 pints down you before it becomes good value.

Is that only for the Maidstone game or a new thing for all games?

The current all inclusive food and drink ticket is £160 I think so this is significantly cheaper.

Best view the house up there. People that can afford it will do it Just to be away from the peasants. The take up won’t be much for the cup game though.

£140 if it is a category B game, £160 for Cat A

It's still too expensive. There's lots of clubs charging a lot less.

To be honest that isn’t too bad pricing wise. Would rule out certain clientele which they don’t want there anyway. Places like Leicester etc do similar set ups with much higher prices.
Lots of clubs do it, it’s all down to affordability you know it’s a 100 and odd quid each, they will sell.

The Mill area is nice - staff are on the whole good but still having to pay for a hot drink when you've paid £600+ is still wrong!
Seats are padded and also mainly torn to shreds although thats not the clubs fault.

It was nicer when you could use it without having to pay extra!

It's a pain now, it is the closest F&B for blocks 35 - 37 and since they've limited access they've not opened anything for supporters there. You can either go towards the north stand which is a pop and crisps place with no hot drinks, beer or food or head down to block 5 which has the smallest selection and slowest staff it is possible to have.

I think it's good value.

I'd be interested to see if they carry it on for league games and how much more expensive it will be.

The seats near to the dug out also need filling, I think some are for the legends lounge, that block is nearly always only half full at most

It's maybe good for a one off, but how many people can afford £140 for a category B game to get some street food and a great view more than once? Most wealthy clientele already have their boxes, most of which still seems to be empty(?).

I know hospitality is supposed to be expensive but it seems like we have more availabile than other grounds this level and currently it's struggling to be filled.

Which Championship clubs are and is it for a similar elevated seat side on to the pitch, genuinely interested as the leadership team should be doing that type of analysis along with our own pricing strategy for fans.

Regarding ground improvements I was eaves dropping a conversation in the casino few weeks and being discussed was new boxes being installed at the back of the north stand and eventually going round the ground don’t know how far round, anybody hears similar ?

Not this decade. That's some established-Premier-League-team talk

It'll be full of yobos drinking 10 pints to get their fill. Can't afford it? Stay down here with the rest of us scum.

I think those seats are for those that have a bit of extra cash, who want a more calmer experience and don't have the friends/family for a box.

Doug King said as much on the radio last year when people were moaning about the prices going up for boxes.

His response was basically if you want to go in a box, work harder.

I have to admit I admired the bluntness of that comment! A very brave thing to say

My point being they cant sell out hospitality. Balcony is always empty

Knock a few quid off and youd get more in there

I dont think the smack rat chavs of the city can cobble together even £50 for hospitality so even at £80 you'll still be getting a better standard of clientele in there than fucking Block 14

Not a dig at those in block 14 btw just the chavviest block i can think of

There are some good people in them blocks, but unfortunately there are also a lot of idiots. Like the group of about 50 who ran over to the Millwall fans like they can actually do something. They’re the ones that spoil it for the rest. It is their fault that there has been a hideous amount of segregation. Them so-called fans need calling out.

True but they ain’t looking for “ men of straw” dicks like you and me and is obviously, if true aimed at business types and being a PL club.
Should, no when we get to the prem I’m sure they would sell out.
Still just possibly talk at the moment.

Genuinely think it just needs 3 or 4 of the older members of the fanbase in there to slap a couple of the little shits and they'll slink away and never do it again

But you're right, they're the ones who fuck it for everyone else
