Genuinely think it just needs 3 or 4 of the older members of the fanbase in there to slap a couple of the little shits and they'll slink away and never do it again

But you're right, they're the ones who fuck it for everyone else
Those elder members though become as bad as the chavs, as a one off if the old bill did their job moved in and nicked a load of those 50 chavs I’d think they would think again.

I think you're into the realms of fantasy if you expect the police to actually do their job

Regarding ground improvements I was eaves dropping a conversation in the casino few weeks and being discussed was new boxes being installed at the back of the north stand and eventually going round the ground don’t know how far round, anybody hears similar ?

If that was to happen wouldn't it reduce the Stadium's capacity.

Think We already have a reduced capacity? Considering it is over 34k? We never seem to try and sell anything above 30.
I hope the box story is true. And think it will make it look quite good. Who knows, we could have our own Prawn Sandwich brigade one day 😂

Yeah okay, but the Stadium capacity is 32+k.

What he means is there is no room for boxes at the back of the north and east stands meaning to install them would take out a load of the seats that are currently available

£105 for an onion bhaji, cauliflower curry washed down with a couple of pints of pissi beer. No thanks. Its my birthday that night they'll be no way I'll be spending £630 bringing bringing my family to sit there. They can have one steak and kidney pie and a bovril instead.

No, I don't think it's even possible

So macaroni cheese and a few pints are worth £70?
I think you would be surprised how many people are willing to pay this.
Just after 10 am on Sunday the Club Coventry lounge was packed, that's 2 hours of drinking at £6.80 a pint.
I'd say 70% if not more were having breakfast snacks off the hot counter. The full English wrap was £7.50.
If it's unlimited food and beer in the price including a match ticket which on normal match days is £70 if you don't have an ST then I think they have the pricing about right.

Sunderland, QPR and Stoke have a similar package. Sunderland was £95 and you got 2 drinks and a food item.

Fair enough, I just don’t think it’s worth quite that much.

It's not but it's not meant to be good value and it will be even less value when you see the prices go up for league games.

Corporate isn't about value, it's about the impression.

I'm happy turning up an hour early and having a couple of ropey Stella's in a plastic glass and hope indulging in limbs with my friends.

We are looking at it very different to someone who maybe isn't paying for it but wants to take a few key clients to a game and treat them to "cheaper " and affordable hospitality.
This hasn't been created for your average fan, but if your average fan wants it then they will probably find the money for it as "they" see value in it. The majority of us perhaps don't.

If we continue to win and do well then I think it sells well, if we slump down to mid table and no chance of playoffs then not as well.

A lot of us have spent a long time moaning about the lack of commerciality at the club had and I think Pete and others met with them at some point but if you look at the last few years or even months, the changes (may cost us more) but I bet average spend per client/fan is far more than it has ever been

New seating to house more home fans
3 good kits selling out each year
Renewal of Hummel
Retro kits selling out
Other merchandise for kids at home etc
Pricing on ST's
Pricing on the corporate packages
More and varied food & drink outlets
Cheaper hospitality to fill out these vacant seats at a level for small businesses to take advantage of

Basic common sense for me then to deem it too expensive and not take it up
I think this is what Doug is trying to do though. Hospitality is not supposed to be cheap, it's for Corporate guests and businesses. We're not in L2 anymore and it was so cheap that it was becoming a bit of a place to go and sniff coke with your mates and get wasted. Already this season a large part of that has gone away and yet even with the massive price increases Legends and Club Coventry are sold out. I would imagine prices in hospitality will go up again next season and i believe they are renovating the lounges. In such a short space of time i would say they have done a pretty good job and started to offer lots of variety.

If we get to the promised land the demand for hospitality will be unreal. At HR the waiting list for boxes and Vice Presidents seats was years and years. At one point the Vice Presidents club was passed onto Family members as they knew they would never get tickets again if they gave them up.

Spot on. Hospitality rarely is deemed "value", club taking a sensible and business led view to it.

I think this latest initiative is decent offer.

There will always be +/- views, but again the club are trying something and we just have to applaud that, we have come such a long way off the field in circa 12 months, think people would be shocked if there knew the infastructure that was keeping club going under SISU.

Boddy and all other staff members deserve a medal and huge thanks.

Last season it was £4.80 in Club Coventry. That increase makes me even more convinced I was right to give CC a miss this year.

I love that people are working out the value compared to how many pints, yet haven't factored in that the beer is already overpriced. We pay it as a captive audience, but if it was perceived value, no ticket would ever sell in corporate.

I'm pleased some can afford it though as we require a certain sized pot of gold and if corporate pay more, hopefully us plebs have to contribute less.

I see what the plan is.
A cunning way to make sure we don’t arrive 5 minutes before kickoff. This will make a huge difference to the queues at the turnstiles.

The class system is still alive and well? 🙄
If the club gets in more money from people willing to pay that much for macaroni cheese and a pint then all power to them. Maybe means a smaller ticket price hike for the rest of us
