He’ll simply be pissed off that despite having spent a huge amount we’re still struggling for squad depth in basically every position except centre back and left back.
We ought to be able to beat these without O'Hare. If he is still struggling, wait until he's fit. Our league position won't be decided tomorrow, regardless.

Who both played in our run in last season. People underestimate Kelly. Yes his injuries have been bad, but he’s played in 3 divisions for us. His performances in The Boro playoff games last season were top drawer.
I agree, was gutted mcfadzean left. Both could have had parts to play when we are thin on the ground. Both would run themselves in to the ground for us. Our squad is lacking anyone with that grit now. If you think about it we don’t have much experience in the team

@Saddlebrains - who has decided the selection is hilarious? You, your 'insider' friend, or have you just used the wrong word. Perhaps you meant 'surprising' or 'unexpected' ?

I don't get the insider team news the night before a game. Unless MR or one of his backroom team are on here, no one will know team news unless a player is leaking it. However, I'm pretty certain that any team news on a forum, the night before a game, is just pure conjecture or guess work.

Somebody on the staff clearly was/is leaking team news to Saddle.

Considering we had to resort to the likes of Burroughs, Howley, Maguire, Dabo and so on last season… we’re so much stronger this season.

I’m glad MR was on the radio this morning saying he needs to rotate players this next few games. The whole adage of ‘never change a winning team’ or ‘always play your best team’ is well and good until fatigue kicks.

One of the reasons Man City tend to dominate in the final half of a league season is because their squad management is the best.

In the summer, Robins will be working towards having strong 1-2 strong options in every position.

Well they have the best players too

Yes, but how do they consistently overturn deficits to win the league? They were 12 points behind Arsenal last season and it’s fair to say they lost the title rather than Citeh ‘won’ it - their fate was in their hands.

Still think someone inside the club leaking team news is very stupid and I’m surprised that the club haven’t put a stop to it. Seems like a very silly thing to do just to gain a bit of clout from your mates.

I know it’s been dismissed as ridiculous that the opposition would ever see it but I think some people underestimate just how much prep work goes on behind the scenes and the lengths that clubs will go to to gain an advantage.

I used to work in sports betting and we’d be scouring club forums all week looking for potential team info to give ourselves a bit of a leg up. If we knew it went on and were doing it then you can bet that clubs are going to get one of the analysts to have a look round as see what they can find.

Give it a rest with the Godden shite FFS. He got himself into two good positions to score the other night, that's half the battle. It was the same early season where he missed the chances at Leicester but then went on a run.

It's so tedious that there has to be some scapegoat, especially with a very honest player like him.

Hmmmm coming from you? You get mad every time Palmer gets in position to make a pass that doesn't come off.

Pot kettle vibes.

Stating a demonstrable fact that Palmer's final ball is more often than not disappointing is completely different from "I bet McNally and Rose are buzzing Godden is not playing".

Who do you think decided which players to bring in?

I would guess that this season was always going to be do our best with what we have and next season go for it. I still think the comments from Robins is to try and keep expectations down. But we're not the only side struggling with injuries and fatigue. It's normal at this time of the season.

I'd bench Thomas and put Binks in his place. He's really not put a foot wrong while Thomas....ahem ahem

I'm not on about that comment. I don't agree with it

I'm saying more about you saying godden getting in good positions then messing up. But when a midfielder does same that's not good enough for you and u like to have a go.

Just seems like double standards because you have a favourite

Collins, Lati (if MVE needs a rest), Binks, Kitching, Bidwell, Torp, Eccles, COH, Saka, Wright, Simms

Think we’ve got a bit obsessed with squad depth and needing 2 players in each position. Just keep playing your best 11 and throwing players in when needed. It’s getting a bit like American football now. Just how the players will like it incidentally. Games gone mad.

That's true but on the other hand - after last night's result - we can put pressure on the Baggies with a win.

I think it will be a tough game today. I predict a draw, probably 1-1.

A gap of two hundred, assuming squad same as our most productive spell nailed on.

80 points is the mean average for home advantage. There's a lot of stability in the ratings now. Around 120 ahead on this fixture.

Game 30 onwards is around the sweet spot. Using a guesstimate, that's when rd goes below 50.

A win would be nice.

Just looked it up. 2:1 ratio. City heavily favoured.

If Ohare don’t play it’s a joke. Might be why robins seems pissed off. We’ll see. What we saving him for, his next club?

To maximize his performance for the last 14 games. He gets through a lot of work. You could see when he was walking around the pitch after the Millwall game he was shattered.

Don't have much experience? Rubbish, Collings, Kitching, Dasilva, Latibeaudiere, Sheaf, Palmer, O'Hare, Godden, I would classify as experienced players. Even Simms and Eccles are not short of first team experience now in their careers. Some of these players have the potential to develop further, but you can't call them inexperienced.

Torp has decent first team experience although adjusting to English football. Wright has plenty of first team experience but adjusting to English football. But having played now in England, Turkey and Germany would suggest he is as experienced as anybody in the squad.

Is Stoke the worst away day in the League? Even worse than the CBS isn't it?
