I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Wright is a rating of 4.

He never hot out of first gear. Hope this isn't the Wright of first 4 months of season re appearing.

Wilson 6...had nothing to do.
Lats 6.5
Thomas 7
Binks 7
Da Salva 6.5
Topr 6
Eccles 6
Ohare 6...not his usual high standards.
Wright 4
Simms 7.5..Just about motm.
Tavaras. 6

Palmer 5
Van Ewick. 6
But London on the other hand- Wright was instrumental in the set up for the Simms goal and we've seen that he has the x-factor when he is driving forward. Very far from his best but still influenced the result. I'm just happy to see both our forward signings over the summer making match winning contributions.

He did good work for that goal but aside from that he really struggled throughout I thought, couldn't impose himself on either full back, really hesitant with the ball and that miss near the end was the cherry on top. He'll bounce back I'm sure

There's no one better in goals than Ben Wilson when we are protecting a 1-0 lead late in the game. World class in running down the clock. Love the bloke and what he brings to the changing room.

Yeah TBF when it got to 20 to go and were under the cosh I was glad for his nonsense. Just calms everything down.

Wilson 6.5 - did the fundamentals well, wasn’t tested
Lati 7 - solid and dependable
Thomas 8 - my man of the match. Some crucial blocks and tackles
Binks 6.5 - solid and consistent. I hope we sign him permanently
Dasilva 6.5 - he’s played well the last few games
Torp 6.5 - sees the picture around him very quickly. Two good feet. Hope his injury is just a scare and not serious
Eccles 7 - worked tirelessly and covered a lot of ground
O’Hare 7 - extra point for the assist. Missed a sitter but was busy and tried to make things happen
Wright 6 - not as bad as some of you made out. Always looks a threat
Tavares 6 - did well, put in a peach of a cross. He tracked their full back well and kept his shape well
Simms 8 - focal point up front. Looks clumsy at times but linked play and took his goal well

subs
MVE 6.5 - defensively solid, didn’t get the chance to burst forward as was pushed back
Palmer 6 - found it difficult to find space but helped out defensively
Bidwell 6 - was solid and calm and helped us see the game out

Got to be careful criticising Wright, as leading scorer to many fans he can do no wrong.
As I have found to my detriment.

The thing with Wright is even when he has a bad game he's still heavily involved and appears a threat.

The chance he missed, he created himself running from well inside own half. No one else in the squad can do that.
He has alot of bad games and I agree in all those bad games he's involved alot.

A great example was Millwall..he was abysmal but scored 2. Which is great.

And only is great and cant have arguments if he scores.
