It's an excuse that's wheeled out too much.

Maybe something is going wrong with the fitness team or the players we are signing.

An excuse for what? Can you just say outright you think Robins is lying about player fitness despite again using fewer players than almost everyone in the league?

Saka and Wright came from divisions where you play 35 games a season max, Thomas has come from youth and barely played that many. He’ll even Godden has played more minutes for us than any prior season.

The squad is small. We have injuries to key players. Others are tired or have had their head turned. It really doesn’t require a conspiracy theory about a manager who has been with us seven years and consistently performed.

Where should he be positioned for the second one with a cross coming from the left?
Ideally not rooted to his goal line like a fucking spectator. He's literally the only keeper I've ever seen with zero command of his 6 yard Box.

We're in a rut. It happened last season a couple of times and now this. A run of half a dozen games where we are under par and drop down the table , followed by a return to form. I think we might miss out on the play offs but I expect us to be closer to the top 6 than we are right now so you never know .
We desperately need Sheaf back and someone who is a real captain who can lead this team . Latibeaudier isn't the answer. Very few are.
The difference last season was we had players who could drag us out of it.

Yeah it's all well and good him saying it but why doesn't what he does match up with it?

Kitching has hardly played recently FFS, if he's fatigued maybe whoever did the medical should be sacked.
But we don't know why he hasn't played recently, we don't get that information. Someone might not start a game because they didn't get a lot of sleep the night before, as stupid as that may sound, if your brain's tired, your decision making can be slower than usual so you're not 100%. If someone else is well rested and sharp, play them. In a game more and more data orientated, the tiniest things can affect selections

The answer of someone who has no answer. I’ve been waiting all season for someone to tell me one thing MVE is good at apart from the post game fist bumps

the answer of someone who has no time for your bullshit

he’s pacy, tackles back well (usually), scores the odd goal, has a great free kick, long throw…..

Oh and also…..

His own actions don't match up with the whole player fitness and tiredness stuff.

He doesn't know how to rotate or keep a squad sharp.

Ideally not rooted to his goal line like a funking spectator.
He's covering his near post, then moving more central as the ball comes in, it then goes back the way he's coming from. If he managed to get anything on that, it's a world class save. Did you want him to come out and challenge for it?

Because he trusts Lati and has to shoehorn him in regardless of where.

What did the data say about the changes on Monday night?

Thomas played over 40 games last season in league one.

Simms been on a decent little run but as soon as he goes a match without scoring people are calling for Godden to come on.

Short memories.
He was in a graveyard shift first half. The in the box effort was non league level but his link up play was good, he put himself about and had the beating of their CBs for pace.

If he had better service in the box, we’d get way more out of him. Him being restricted to long range chances is poor on our part. Needs better crosses and better through balls through the middle.

Guarantee He will come good with good service. Still just a young guy but he’s never going to be a Gyo type of striker.

Torp did play well, when he had the ball, distribution good, forward passes good... but his set pieces were not good today. Palmer did play with more energy and was progressive compared to O'Hare who was OK for the first 15 minutes but then sort of faded. He seems to give us less with every game since he came back from injury - I'd be tempted to us him/Palmer interchangeably and get more Wright time. But it's clearly not easy for us against the teams above and around, but these were the hard fixtures. We're only one point behind where we were after 35 games last season; if we don't make the play-offs it's because it's a tougher league, and we'll have done well with basically a new team. I fully expect us to thrash Rotherham and beat Watford on our way to Molineaux...

Or tired. Or out of form. What’s your suggestion? Stop beating around the bush and out with the theory.
I'm just suggesting that on occasions when these players haven't been selected tiredness or illness hasn't been the reason. Don't ever remember Kitching or Collins being out of form .

You think he just prefers Latibeaudiere to Kitchen now? Fairly sure he knows his strongest 11 now.

How do you mean? That he doesn't trust the youngsters/they're just there to make up the numbers? Playing for 10 minutes is vastly different from 90

and / or the players we AREN’T signing?

players get tired, it’s not a new thing, and yet we buy one player who’s in the middle of a post season break, and one who can’t play for us this season….

can’t then call fatigue as an excuse in my eyes, you’ve made it a problem by failing to add to the squad, and to be honest if we’re playing players through periods they aren’t fully fit and they are picking up injuries as a result it’s borderline negligent on the club’s part for pushing them too hard

and yes, the flip side is they are professional athletes and should be able to play twice a week blah blah blah, but it doesn’t appear that way does it!

45 minutes for a player who just missed a game because of fatigue when it wasn't needed.

Does he know the strongest 11? Maybe he should play it.

How many videos of Hamer Vik and Mcfad doing head tennis and whoop whoop did you see last season?? None, because they wouldn’t be seen fucking dead doing it.

The biggest worry now is we’ve got a championship equivalent of your rashfords, lingards and Sanchos.
