Sacked by text, what class we have in and around our boardroom. You think SISU and Joy couldnt get any lower but they always manage to some how. Obviously Fisher is Joys poisen dwarf and does exactly what he is told. I know we dont have any insight into what goes on inside the corridors at the club but you can see why people are scared to voice an opinion. Any team is only as strong as its weakest part, unfortunately our weakest part owns the club so GOD HELP US!

didnt he actually say that he got a text as he was leaving Ricoh to go to the Board room and no one was there when he got there, then got a phone call later ? Either text or phone call is wrong - face to face it should be. Were we not told by TF that the directors discussed it on the Sunday then made a decision ? He was sacked, how could it be constructive dismissal ? He had a legal battle to agree his severance - not unusual. We have the one of biggest wage budgets in the division £4.2m - thats not no budget. He told SW a few home truths from his side of things - hooray someone ought to but dont be surprised if the reaction isnt positive.
Not actually having a go at AT - always thought him to be a good honest man, he can only tell it as he sees it - but anything to do with CCFC never seems to come out ringing of the truth. Kind of fed up with that

Didn't hear the interview, but did he clearly state the context for his 'no budget' assertion?
If it related to last season, then he's correct - we were funded within the bottom three teams in the league - which is where we finished.
Always amazes me that people will point at our comparative large budget this year, and claim that there should be a table-topping correlation to this. Yet dismiss the same equation for when a team is funded within the very poorest in the league as we were last term...

Spending millions doesnt guarantee success and a small budget doesnt have to mean failure...... although both indicate a likely outcome. Think we should also distinguish between wage budget and transfer budget. It is also easy to blame it on the "budget" without looking behind it at things like the ability to move players on to create cash to bring players in.
Do we actually know what was spent on wages to 31/05/12 ? or the figure for other teams ? Anyone know of anywhere we can get the net transfer trade for each team to 31/05/12 (not estimates)?

Said he wanted James Collins And David McGoldrick to be his strike force in the summer. Last season in the champ he told the board we were a couple of Bosmans away from challenging. He went away for summer and came back 12 players down. Knew within a month we were in trouble. Contacted Harry Redknapp?!

Obviously not scientific but did'nt we come to an Estimate on here of around £8-9M. on here OSB.
Transfer Income Turner ,Gunnarson ,Juke Circa £1.8-£2m.
Further income was it for Best and Dann sell ons ,international call ups??
Outward---- Dunn £80k.... mcdonald £400k.
wont know for sure wingy till 2012 accounts come out but i wonder how that net amount compares to other clubs ?

largely the way of football these days though ........ there is a significant change in staff at most clubs each summer..... the key is getting the right ones in isnt it ?

Cetainly can believe Collins was his first choice - he is his type of stiker - one that rarely scores.
Never heard such a load of bilge in my life. Thorn STILL takes absolutely no blame for what happens! Was SISU at fault for making changes in the 85th minute? Was it the SISU's fault he turned up drunk to training and would cancal at a whim? Was it SISU who played Clarke on the left when he clearly isn't any use there (something MR is STILL doing!).
SISU have an awful lot of blame, but for him to imply it was ALL them. That is just utter bollocks!
Also if he was that concerned why didn't he resign? If he wanted "to act with class" he would have had the backbone to resign - but he didn't did he!

Do you also think TF would have kept that quite.
Do you also think he would now attack them, effectively goading them into releasing that fact.

I fully expect McGoldrick to be a one (or half) season wonder actually.
No one has cleared up any matter - I don't care what he says and he always has had selective memory.
For once psgm1 ir right - he never once has owned up to admitting any blame for the clubs state during his tenure - and he must go down in history as the worst manager for signing good players. Of all his signings I would say one (Murphy) was worth anything.
