Why? i would of thought your own kind would be right up your street.Too many embarrassing muppets and shirters among the ‘hardcore’ of our away support for my liking. They almost put me off going.
I’m in Stan Cullis and my mates in Steve Bull, PM me and we’ll sort out a ticket swap - I believe I’m in NU5 too but I’ll check when I get home.Anyone able to do a ticket swap?
I have one in
Looking to swap for one in Stan Cullis Upper (NU5).
001. Steve Bull JL5N 137 ADULT £30.00
Or and adult and child ticket swapped in the opposite direction.
I have to strongly disagree on this. We have had all these arguments before.I live abroad half the season, so know I am never in the running, and always rely on favours, work colleagues and family to get me my tickets when I need them.
I’ve served my time over the years following City, but I reckon any fans that made the regular pilgrimage to Northampton should have golden tickets and priority access to any game, above and beyond any points system
Why should they get tickets instead of someone who has been to more games than them in the last 4 years?Only thing that pisses me off is the points system and I’ve got a wolves ticket. Boils my piss that people I know who refused to go to Brum and rightly so in my opinion who have been season ticket holders for maybe 35 of the last 40 years but can’t get tickets. People spout on about the points system being fair, is it really?
you would think the club would have the past purchasing history of the last 40 years. That’s the loyal fans. so onto wolves, I’ll end up with Somme 17 year old sniffed up twat next to me clone island up to the max who maybe been going for 3 years when it should be a pal who stood next to me at ewood park watching lee hurst score a worldie. To reiterate, points system is bollocks and thats coming from someone who can get away tickets for any game.

Well obviously as I went to matches in 1967 I should get first dibs for all ticketsWhat do you think would be fairer?
Yes, that’s me, give me a ticket, I was at the 1993 game, not the 17 year old, what a night, Williams and Quinn destroyed them, our driver had a parking ticket after the game but we didn’t care.Only thing that pisses me off is the points system and I’ve got a wolves ticket. Because the said people you mention have only been season ticket holders since the return to coventry. They have points, not quite enough and any away game they’ve tried to get to this season the tickets are already snapped up apart from Stoke and the owls in the league. This is where the issue lies, it’s impossible to catch people up as the same ones go to all the away games as they are on 1000 plus points. How can people increase points Without the generic come back of go to the away games that don’t sell out like sunderland a few days before Christmas. Why should they get tickets instead of someone who has been to more games than them in the last 4 years?
By your logic you shouldn't get tickets as there's people who have bee going since the 60s and 70s.
The people who have supported the club they most recently get first choice.
So suggest me a fairer systemBecause the said people you mention have only been season ticket holders since the return to coventry. Won’t next years points only have been earned since the return to Coventry so those who didn’t refuse to support the club when it was forced to play in Birmingham will no longer be at an advantage?Because the said people you mention have only been season ticket holders since the return to coventry. already excluded - 1st season is now the covid season and the following 3 including this oneWon’t next years points only have been earned since the return to Coventry so those who didn’t refuse to support the club when it was forced to play in Birmingham will no longer be at an advantage?
Dragging your arse out and forming a line as we did in the 80‘s and 90’s. If you wanted a ticket back then you got there early. If you wasn’t prepared to get there early then you were deemed not bothered. Failing that, I’ll get my missus to knit some hats, always guarantees best seats in the house and preferential treatment like leaving the Anecdote at 2:55 and knocking the door to be let in to avoid waiting with the hordesSo suggest me a fairer system
Too late, as both will lose 250 but gain 250 by renewing. The gap will never close.Won’t next years points only have been earned since the return to Coventry so those who didn’t refuse to support the club when it was forced to play in Birmingham will no longer be at an advantage?
Ok so your idea of fairness is to have people who work be unable to physically get tickets?Dragging your arse out and forming a line as we did in the 80‘s and 90’s. No, but it’s not difficult to give someone your card and queue for you is itOk so your idea of fairness is to have people who work be unable to physically get tickets?
We live in the 21st century. Why make people queue for something that can be done virtually? No, but it’s not difficult to give someone your card and queue for you is it
Look, it’s not a personal attack on you. i did the same.We live in the 21st century. Why make people queue for something that can be done virtually?
I got my ticket at my desk at work which took 5 minutes out of my day. That and I live 1.5-2 hours away from Coventry.

I'd like to see it introduced. 70/30 seems pretty fair. As I mentioned before there's a bit of admin involved to do it that way and I doubt there's the man power to do it. A membership scheme to access away tickets costing a tenner a season is more than enough to cover the extra staff needed for it though.Yes, that’s me, give me a ticket, I was at the 1993 game, not the 17 year old, what a night, Williams and Quinn destroyed them, our driver had a parking ticket after the game but we didn’t care.
I suspect no club has purchasing history going back 40 years, the infrastructure in clubs until recent years is shambolic.
luckily I do have a ticket but stand by amending the system to allow for a ballot system of a certain percentage as well as the most points individuals having first rights. It not too difficult to administer
Look, it’s not a personal attack on you. i did the same.
my point is ppl get tickets who have been to maybe 80 games in the last 3 years where ppl who have been to 400 games in the last 9 years are forgotten.

So, next year those that didn’t support the club financially whilst not allowed to attend games will be on a level playing field? And wasn’t covid year still played at St. Andrew’s meaning I was right anyway?already excluded - 1st season is now the covid season and the following 3 including this one
I have never understood the appeal of watching Cov in the home end of an away gameAnyone thinking about the home end?
I was in the home end at Millwall. Not very pleasant sat on your hands when the away end is going mad.I have never understood the appeal of watching Cov in the home end of an away game
It's away end only or not at all

Like who? Most people I know are in full time work. No, but it’s not difficult to give someone your card and queue for you is it
ThisLot of hand-wringing about the points system which is a bit sad. Been a ST holder for about 18 years but my younger brother has his first ST this season. I’d never previously made an effort with cup games etc but now we have to build his points up we’ve been to all the FA cup games as well as some of the less appealing away days (Rotherham away, for example). Just have to get on with it. He can’t get a ticket for Wolves, he’s disappointed but he gets it and will watch on tv instead.
