MOTM? (3 Viewers)

Simms gets MOTM for me. Sheaf is a close second and I thought Bobby Thomas had a great game too.

The team executed the plan perfectly and we were good value for the win. At 2-1 down after 88 minutes you’d have taken extra time and we kept fighting.

What a great day, everyone is happy and enjoying the game!

Dominating a Wolves side that are 9th in the Prem should give this team all the hope that we can kick on and reach the playoffs this season.

It's impossible to give MOTM today, but Simms just shades it

Collins 9
Lati 8
Thomas 9
Kitching 9
Bidwell 9
Eccles 9
Sheaf 9
MVE 9
Palmer 9
Simms 9.5 MOTM
Wright 9

Subs
O'Hare 8
Torp 7
Tavares 7

He was but Simms play throughout caused them problems all game. Two good centre forwards goals and a superb first time layoff to Wright for the third and winner makes him my MOM.

Eccles and Thomas also really good games.
I think you're right. They were all great but if I had to pick the three best it would be

1 Simms
2 Thomas
3 Eccles

According to ITV it was Ait-Nouri for Wolves!
Missed them presenting it to him at the end!🤷🤣🤣

They gave several of our players honourable mentions and decided when it was 2-1 Wolves. As I said earlier they are welcome to the MOM award 😂😂

Everyone was brilliant today. But a few stood out. Thomas, Kitching, Simms, Palmer first half, but Bidwell was everywhere today & that trusted left foot was on point today. Immense performance.

And who said these Barnsley players are crap. 🤔

The improvement of Palmer since his return from injury is noticeable, he looks better in every way. I do wish his finishing was better though, he should score a lot more with positions he gets in.

He delivers on a few occasions but then has games where he is non existent - the Watford game being a classic example

Agree, he was poor, non existent at Watford (as were most of our team to be fair). I thought Robins should have started O’Hare yesterday but I was wrong, Palmer was excellent yesterday, Robins is using O’Hare like a rugby substitution, Palmer starts and makes things happen for 70 minutes, then O’Hare comes on to finish the job. Shout out to Kitchen and Thomas yesterday, as well as being superb defensively, two crucial assists for goals.

That's true of every player.

Well it isn’t really. The truth is he would be at a higher level but the likes of Sheaf and O Hare are going to get to a higher level and he never will.

Wouldn't really want to pick any individual out from what was an incredible team performance,

they all played their part, I'd say 10/10 across the board, and thank you all for a game that will live in the memory for years and years to come, not to mention another trip to Wembley.

If we cary on playing at Wembley like this, some Londoners are going to think we've been evicted again! 😍

Yeah, Palmer was brilliant yesterday, as he has been in every FA Cup game this season, unfortunately we rarely get that anywhere near that level of performance from him in the league.

Of course it is. I have seen Messi, DeBruyne and Foden (who I know you also don't think is all that but you're so wrong) have ineffective games.

The fact is Palmer is a very talented player. He is keeping O'Hare out of the side on merit and he did not look out of his depth at all against a decent Premier League team. I think we agree that O'Hare has not downed tools, so Robins preferring Palmer in such a big match shows how good he is.
