We have won 3 out of last 4 cup ties with Man Utd. I do remember overall he had a better 'head to head' record overall against them. People may be very surprised by this in. Just checked now in Dec 1982 we had won more games. It changed drastically after that.

Its a totally different era now.

It is a different era, but since then they've come through an era of utter domestic dominance to be a bit better than average.
