This a local ish fixture for me, 1hr 12m drive to my intended car park which is about 40m less than a home game!

We concede goals so we’ll need 2/3 goals tonight.

Can see Robins making a few changes - set up similar to Ipswich & Leeds away earlier this season.

Will be a meltdown on this thread in circa 6 hours.

Hoping for an easy journey and a good result. Can definitely see us getting something tonight.

Last time we went in the cup there were a few places on above bar street with a heavy Cov presence. Not sure if it will be different given that it's an evening kick off though. Think Yates and the scholars arms (greene king) were the busiest?

For any beer connoisseurs out there Belgium & Blues on the same street is a good visit.
I read somewhere that Yates is a designated away pub so may head there.

If Wright is being rested then we can only really stick Palmer out there (Dasilva maybe but I'd rather not) and put MvE on the right without changing it too much. 1-1, Simms.

Collins
Lati Thomas Kitching Bidwell
Sheaf Eccles
Mve O'Hare Palmer
Simms

I guess the thinking might be that you can rearrange the same personnel in to a 5221 and players are in more familiar positions?

Thought we were very good at home against these.

Think we should set up similarly to the reverse fixture with Eccles in for Allen and Palmer in for Sakamoto unless Wright needs to be rested in which case I'd add Latibeaudiere and shift Palmer onto the left side.

Expect we'll need to cede possession percentage to them and be disciplined in which areas of the field we press. Think we may see subs used earlier in this game than Robins normally would to try and manage the players through a busy period.

Fancy us to sneak a 2-1 tonight

will DM you… there is one in K’worth but won’t put it publicly. I would love to watch you trying to avoid going back to the hotel alone whilst using phrases like “single fit birds” though 😂🥴

Wright wont be risked tonight no way as we wont have enough of the ball. Think Da Silva may well play in his spot. Palmer mya be rested as well and Latabadieure brought in with MVE moved up to RW.
Against Southampton that would make sense at their place as well.
