If you're planning on driving into central London on any day then you've only got yourself to blame. Not with the extent of the road closures that the marathon involves

The downsides of being a nightowl, eh?12.00 train to Euston onto the tube hope to get to Wembley for 1.30.
Can’t get down any earlier.
I'm in Pink car park and leaving around 10amWhat are thoughts on when to set off if driving and parking near the stadium?
PO final was a dreadful journey for us but probably left a little late. Unfortunately can’t remember what time that was!I'm in Pink car park and leaving around 10am

Simple rule for driving to Wembley, leave an hour earlier than what google maps/sat nav tells you the journey time will be.What are thoughts on when to set off if driving and parking near the stadium?

We paid £200 for a driver so everyone can have a drink . The driver follows rugby so he has no interest.Driving home having been in Spoons from 9?
Thinking of doing the Green Man this time, how early do folk think it will be full?Train in, get to London at 9.14, couple bottles on the train, too early to go mad. Find a pub on the Metropolitan line and to the Green Man early.
I'd be surprised if it isn't one in-one out from 10.30am ish.Thinking of doing the Green Man this time, how early do folk think it will be full?

It was rammed last time. Shipley is going there so might be worth giving it a miss if you don’t want to have that silly song ringing in your ears all morning!Thinking of doing the Green Man this time, how early do folk think it will be full?
I liked that place previously. I know others didn’t.Thinking of doing the Green Man this time, how early do folk think it will be full?

However, didn’t get a sniff of getting in for the playoff final. That was 3 hours before kick off. No shops around Wembley sell booze on match days.
Makes me nervous drinking around Wembley.
