The ref said it was a goal, the linesman said it was a goal, the Man U players thought it was a goal, the City players and fans thought it was a goal and the Man U fans thought it was a goal too
Given that freeze frame, the VAR should immediately say "it's too close to call", stick with the on-field decision.
Ditch anything with miniscule interrogation (the technology is not good enough anyway). No drawing lines, unless it is to show someone was well offside. Not by a toenail. Clear on instant viewing. Something you can see in an instant.
And can someone please explain when you watch the video clip on YouTube taken by someone in the crowd, you can clearly see that Hadji Wright is ON SIDE when Callum O'HARE passes the ball to Hadji, but the Video freeze frame on VAR shows that Hadji is LEVEL with the last defender when Callum passes the ball to Hadji ? Something looks dodgy !!! When you watch Match of the day, after the game when they analyse the game they can freeze frame a move and MOVE any player around to where they think the players should have been. It does make you wonder I know Conspiracy theory.
Don't know what happened there Otis, looks like you posted this when It was me
