Just a simple YES or NO, who still thinks we were cheated out of our victory last Sunday.
I'm still fuming, so that's a big fat YES from me.
Oh fuck it, it ain't going to make a difference.

For me it wasn't a handball for our penalty and if the FA really wanted Man Utd to get to the final they would've overruled the penalty handball

Whilst I agree VAR is for clear and obvious errors the issue is the rules rather than cheating by officials

Purely for transparency the audio footage should be released in addition to the visual image that was used . What I still can't come to terms with is that the ref , linesman and 4th official deemed it a goal . Where is there any suspicion of a clear and obvious error ?
It's done now but remains without further explanation a baffling decision .

Let's not forget that they contrived to keep the Manchester teams apart in the semi-finals (and all rounds up to then as well).

Depends what you mean by "cheated"?

Victim of a bad decision made using technology that isn't really fit for purpose? Yes

Victim of a conspiracy to make sure there was an all Manchester final? Nah and stop being so Sunderland.
Conspiracy talk is of course wrong, but very interested to see how a decision apparently this marginal was made so quickly by comparison to the 5 minutes they spent trying to disallow Simms' goal in the QF. Which eventually stood as they couldn't tell.

Last time I checked the referee gave that one.
So the conspiracy theory is that the VAR officials didn’t want us to qualify for the final but they didn’t let the onfield referee in on their plot leaving them completely powerless when it came to decisions he made? They also didn’t even bother trying to send him to the screen on the off chance he might overturn it?

Yes but there’s no conspiracy here, just arseholes.

The current VAR system isn’t capable of the levels of accuracy that the officials are utilizing it for. So, knowing the technology has room for error, only arseholes would use it to decide fine margins.

Directly above I’ve dismissed talk of a ‘conspiracy’.

By letter of the law, it was handball. Was it intentional? No, was it harsh, yes but if the ball strikes the arm or hand, it’s handball. The rule is wrong.

YES!
All about global interests/TV money.
That’s where the ‘game’ has gone.
Anybody who believes otherwise should look around…..at every single walk of life.
Why would footy be any different?

VAR have just spent about two and a half minutes ruling on a pritty obvious offside in the West Ham/Liverpool, retrospectively it seems strange it was ruled out so quick when it was so tight.

I haven't seen replay yet, but it looked clear handball from our end. Was more shocked it was given, rather than if it was/wasn't a pen.
