That’s early season vintage Simms
Was thinking this, he's not great when he has a lot to do in his own or when he doesn't look up. There is still the side of him where he just puts his head down and holds the R1 button, then holds down the power.

Neither of them are good enough. It's madness that we're likely to let someone like Bidwell go but have them around.
We've backed ourselves into a corner. Can't see anyone taking Dasilva off us. Maybe Lati but Robins loves him.

We've been the better side. If not for a wonder save we'd be level, and we've created a couple of other chances.

I'll let you bash one off over how low we've fallen down the form table, I can't be bothered to look tbh.

Hardly bashing one off. Just saying how it is.

Da Silva so open at left back ….

All 4 defenders follow the run for the goal and no one stays with Moore

Their keeper made a great save , they aren't that comfy we do have to be real here we've been the better side .

We need to do more but it's not as bad as being made out here
That really was outstanding save.

Think we've done ok considering the start. VanEwijk and Eccles doing well and Kelly. Wright really unlucky. Not many keepers would have saved that.

Defensively we just not good enough. They waltzed through our left side for the goal. At the back we always take 2 or 3 touches for every player. Midfield not strong/quick enough to prevent balls through the lines.
Wright shrugged off ball too easily and simms touch back to earlier in season. I’m sure we will improve second half but the season has certainly taken its toll.
As for Ipswich …quite efficient…not really stretching themselves but do look vulnerable when they are turned or stretched.

Overall we have played ok since they scored but we look knackered. We also need to appeal more for free kicks. We are so shit at that side of the game

Much better in possession than recent weeks but pretty toothless in the final third - need to get Wright more involved.

Eccles consistently very good no matter what position he plays.

Dasilva will always be exposed defensively. We can’t play out from the back with Latibeaudiere in there - he’s just not comfortable on the ball. Good halves from Van Ewijk and Eccles.

Yes
To be fair, Ipswich seem happy to just sit back on the lead.
Yes that's strange. They have let us back into this when if they had pushed after thry had scored they could have the game won by now. They might regret it.

Don't see the issue with Lati. Decent squad player. Still relatively young. Has done a job in a number of positions.

If we lose tonight though that's 7 losses in the last 12 games which is a shocking last quarter of the season Screenshot_20240430_205942_Chrome.jpg

He’s not the only one to blame, take your blinkers off

Maybe. But the best people can come up with is “he’s not been the worst”. Great, good for him.

He has NEVER been the best player on the pitch. Poor on the ball, worse off it. He’s not good enough, get him gone.

I thought we did pretty well, goal aside and JDS getting caught again.

Definitely should be level. Simms should have done better on a couple of occasions and Kelly and Palmer both nearly scored.

It's been pretty decent all things considered. Da Silva is getting roasted though.

I think we can get something out of this still. Need to sort out down the left hand side though
JDS getting caught again is a common phrase this season unfortunately…

Not shocked goal come from the left side that is a massive area to fix in the summer. But one thing i know for certain JDS is not a defender never will be.
Robins has to workout if he is worth keeping in the squad because at the minute he is in between a position

As for Lats i wish he would put his boots on instead of his flippers, FFS...

I hope we get two youngsters to run around them up front rather than Godden and someone. If Wright and Simms don't improve after 20, I would take them both off. At least the kids will show desire.
