Awful.
Too soft.
No heart.

Maybe mve and Eccles get credit.

Robins needs to fuck his lati obsession off

Palmer’s recent performances have been just terrible, and he hasn’t got the FA Cup excuse that the others use. Tonight again, drifting around the pitch not supporting his teammates in or out of possession, then spending his touches on showboating.

Good goal for Wright and a pity we didn’t have more of a go.
So why didn't he get dragged off? Just let him do it and robins will say tiredness

Cba with the rest, they weren't as bad as the above and the best I can say about anyone atm.

First goal went straight through him. He seems to get constantly caught out at the near post. His ability to release quickly seems to come up short. Bottom line is that he has concedes far more than Ben Wilson.

Why not play Wilson for these dead rubber matches?

MVE 6

Electric pace tonight again some great tackles, some great interceptions, some great moving forward. However, he tends to check back rather than release a killer ball. He needs to work on that.

Lati 5

Some really poor decision-making this evening. Gave the ball away in dangerous areas and didn’t seem to get a grip of his position. Disappointing to say the least.

Thomas 5

Some of his passing was truly awful. lost his man far too often And gave the ball away cheaply. He has a habit of kicking the ball into touch needlessly sometimes when a better option would be to stop turn and pass to turn a defensive move into an attacking one. Some players have a footballing brain. I’m not quite sure about Bobby Thomas.

JDS 5

Unsure why he starts ahead of Bidwell, but he did show some good passing and moving interplay. His corners are poor and his positions for throw ins again questionable.

Eccles 6

Didn’t play too badly but didn’t stamp any kind of authority on the game. Didn’t seem overly passionate or motivated to get stuck in.

Sheaf 6

Similarly to Eccles didn’t get a hold on the midfield. By no means a bad performance, but better leadership needed. He’s the club captain and compare him to say Michael Doyle sometimes you need somebody in the middle to rally the troops particularly in a game like this.

Kelly 5

I like Liam Kelly but he seemed out of his depth today. He was fantastic in league two and league one and is on his day a good lower level championship midfielder. His best days are behind him and it showed. Possibly the last time we will see him at the CBS wish him all the best for the future.

Palmer 6

Palmer has got great close control and dribbling skills and can anticipate and receive a pass well, however the end product on show is somewhat lacking. Should’ve scored before the Haji Wright save But hit his shot with no real conviction. Pretty much sums up his recent performances.

Simms 6

Anonymous for large parts, would’ve thought the possibility of him being a 20 goal striker this season would have spurred him on. His head seems to have dropped a bit, much as it did early season.

Wright 7

Probably the best of a mediocre Bunch this evening. Took his goal well unlucky to have not scored earlier and if there is one bit of feedback to give is that he shouldn’t always aim to shoot high into the net. He’d probably probably be better off shooting low and hard that said he has markedly improved as a player from the start of the season.

I thought Simms did well with zero service. Battled well, chased down, caused a few problems.
Put a good chance over first half and wasted a breakaway too. Generally battled well though I agree unlike one of his colleagues behind him.

Collins 5 (no way a Championship keeper. Gives chances each game now by slack passing out)
Van Ewijk 8 motm
Thomas 6 (feel for him a bit. Looks knackered)
Latibeudiere 5 (good first half. Lost the plot second)
Dasilva 4 (started the rot. Plays dangerous passes. Corners awful)
Kelly 7 (fair play to him. No minutes to 3 matches in a week)
Sheaf 6 (looked like he was carrying an injury. Stupid playing him if the case)
Palmer 5.5 (created chances but frustrating with the basics)
Eccles 7.5 (he was a threat first half and worked hard. Not so involved after HT)
Simms 5 (looked back to early season Simms)
Wright 5 (goal but otherwise was woeful)

Bidwell 6
O'Hare 6
Dausch 6 (give him a start v QPR)

Robins - poor

Cant wait for the season to be over, its gone to shit and we need to reset and add depth in some key areas. Im not saying names but some are miles off it and that seems

Big summer as last few games show we are not good enough

Great assist by Palmer but was fucking terrible today. Seriously, what do we do with him? Because you know he’s got a moment in him like the assist today and the free kick the other day…but his overall game is very poor. Countless fouls given and loses possession too easily. He’s the sort of player you want coming off the bench, not starting. Rudoni will be an upgrade.

Kelly is done, but let's be honest, prime Kante or Makelele would struggle to protect that defence, an absolute calamity.
Lots of work to be done.

Lati wasn't good, and i can understand the criticism, but those complaining at him, who would you have played in there tonight? Binks injured, Kitching suspended. We didn't exactly have many options. He wasn't even the worst defender either, JDS was shocking.

Eccles motm, Thomas and MVE did ok, Wright took his goal well. That's about it.
