Tuchel has the 2nd lowest PPG tally of any full time manager at bayern in the last 30 years , worst in 15 years

But the lino put it up for Madrids 2nd but was overturned by var and a goal given, the whole thing stinks for offsides

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure, but I think there's another obscurity about the ball being in the goal when the flag goes up means VAR is used anyway. Or something like that....

It's rubbish.

The passage of play was allowed to play out on that occasion.
It should have been the same for the Bayern 'goal'.
What happened should be thoroughly looked into, but it won't be.
The whole system is flawed when it comes to offsides, the disallowed Madrid goal when the player was pushed over in the box I kinda get, but offsides no

Villa already 1-0 down at Olympiakos.

How did number 47 at Villa blag a career as a footballer? One of the worst players I’ve seen all season.

Awful positioning at all times, can’t make a simple 5 yard pass and the first touch of a baby elephant.

Looks like Leverkusen’s epic run is going to end and they might even get knocked out at this rate.

Leverkusen are rediculous. Unbeaten in 49 this season now and 3rd time recently they get a 97th minute equaliser!

Might have to start questioning the best league in the world argument about now ..

Shifting 6 goals against a team from a shocking league like this is not a good look
Don't think you can really write off an entire league based on certains teams having a shocker in a knockout tournament. And I don't really understand the constant desire to talk down English football.

Well I'm told every day of my life its the world's best league .. you have to agree based off European success over the last 20 years it probably isn't.. in terms of entertainment sure , it probably is but let's be honest football as a whole used to be far more entertaining than it is now

I'm just not a big fan of today's football and used to enjoy it alot more

I'll talk down the overrated Premier League happily, never talk down English football as a whole though. Our pyramid is the envy of the world and the fans dedication to lower league teams ensure we can remain professional and at a much better standard than lower leagues across the world.

The most entertaining league IS the best league, surely?

Not what he means is it, the best and most successful teams do not have to be the most entertaining to watch.
When people talk about “the best league in the world”, I take it to mean the complete package - quality and entertainment etc

I’m not sure in any case that the last 20 years of European competition makes a conclusive argument against the English league being the best and most successful (unless winning knockout tournaments is your only measure of success).
