JSBs - Are there still benefits? (1 Viewer)

Previously the major selling point was the cheap tickets if you were a JSB. Now it's still a fair whack per game to buy a ticket for a JSB.

Just looked and it's now £50 and you get a tacky captains arm band and a football.

The amazing Christmas Party has been replaced with a training session at the CBS.

It's doubled in price as well to £50.
The age has gone from under 16 to under 13.

What are the benefits? I get that the freebies weren't sustainable but it looks a bit shit nowadays.

It's a good question. I only got one jsb package this year, so one sad kid, but it doesn't make sense if you aren't getting a season ticket.
We used to be able to buy tickets in the FZ when we came up (these are all now sold to season ticket holders), so went in a variety of places across the ground. You still get paper vouchers which are quite good - though a pain to use, I know Pete has raised this at the supporter forums.
Living further away, we can't get to Christmas party/open training session as our school holidays didn't match Warwickshire.
Not sure whether I will get none/one or two next season....

Yeah if the kids were a JSB it meant cheap matchday tickets too which were good for a walkup. So it was worth it to sign up because you could get discounted matchday tickets if you didn't want a Season Ticket.

Again, I don't think freebies is viable but there needs to be benefits to it.

The gifts they received this season are the best I can remember. Holdall bag, water bottle, captains armband, football and pump.

Personalised Xmas and Birthday cards were a nice touch.

Really not much to grumble about. Agree that match tickets should see a better discount though.
