Would be sold out anyway , the pricing is still bad outside the zone for kidsBecause selfish people are abusing the system designed to help families

I thought we were talking about prices generally. I certainly don't support people abusing the system for children's tickets.
What I take issue with is the attitude that the customer pays for any ambition. It works the other way round. The club has to provide a product we want to buy. The reality is many people won’t unless they like the product, especially in the current circumstances that I outlined.

It's one of the worst ..I'm not disagreeing, but what are you basing that on? Is it higher than most of the Championship?
It's one of the worst ..
So much so that sunderland didn't even sell out all their tickets as some fans refused to pay the prices for kids
How can we factor that in when most families at the stadium don't benefit from it ? Tons of kids in Singers corner aloneBut is that factoring in the FZ generous prices?
I agree, and isn't that all the more reason to discourage abuse of it?How can we factor that in when most families at the stadium don't benefit from it ? Tons of kids in Singers corner alone
Its an exclusive zone now with a waiting list unless people don't renew
The club has to generate funds to be competitive on the pitch it's fairly simple especially when you get in to the world of only so much in losses you can make etc. We have been lucky with our ticket prices for a long while especially kids ones. I'll give an example soft play probably wouldn't be put forward as a luxury form of entertainment however each session would be £5.50 at my local soft play (before drinks and snacks) if you did that 23 times a year that would be £126.50, football is an absolute bargain.
Just make season tickets 1000 pound each to please all the price hike weirdos on here , after all we can't have a good team unless the fans pay for it ..
Jog on
Why is it? It's entertainment for children...This is irrelevant though as a comparison.

No , we need him to not fleece fans , end of
Presumably we would still have had Vik and Hamer.Amazing how fans don't care about doug putting in his own cash , and think its up to the supporters to pay for us to be a proper club .. but wanky sisu were told for years they had to pay for the product to make fans want to go ?
Would have been interesting to see what happened if we never had the vik or hamer money ,what would the team have been like this year
I'm not sure if you are intentionally missing the point I was making or are being daft. The difference in this case is you wouldn't have to reserve a place in a play area...Because the ticket is paid. If a season ticket in a play area was £126 and the child went once why would it be removed if you’ve as a parent paid for it?
If he runs the business properly, he doesn’t need to. And that means maximising income from TV, sporting competitions, merchandise, share of F&B and season tickets. That's not the point when we're talking about what doug has spent of his own money

The only point I was making is kids tickets are cheap in comparison to other forms of entertainment you are conflating two different things. Or attempting to...Exactly so it’s a stupid comparison - it’s just irrelevant. I mean the play area could be open on Saturday - you pay then it’s moved to Tuesday at 8 pm - would you demand a refund if you couldn’t go?
Genuine question as I don't really keep track but do the majority of season tickets get sold after the fixtures are released? I always buy mine as soon as they're on sale, or at the latest the first payday after they've gone on sale.I mean the play area could be open on Saturday - you pay then it’s moved to Tuesday at 8 pm - would you demand a refund if you couldn’t go?

Never really occurred to me that the majority of supporters wait until the fixtures are published and then work out if there's a cost benefit on the assumption we won't have a single home game moved for tv.
Doug is an idiot how the hell are we going to play night games now?Seems doug doesn't agree with all the price hike people on here fair play
Does he know we can't pay the electric without screwing the fans ?
That reads at 3-1 when I'm not quoting you, very prophetic I think!Well they buy on the assumption a lot of fixtures will be as scheduled and the scheduled fixtures this season include the majority on Saturday at 3 - I think we played 5
I'll be honest. it's never even crossed my mind to wait until the fixtures are published to decide if I'm buying or notWell they buy on the assumption a lot of fixtures will be as scheduled and the scheduled fixtures this season include the majority on Saturday at 3 - I think we played 5

But if thats what the majority to surely in this day and age you do so with an expectation that fixtures being moved is highly likely, not like its something Sky suddenly decided to start doing last season
People will surely be more aware then ever going into next season given the impact the cup run had and all the publicity the new TV deal has had

That's what it will mean yes , lots of clubs have to provide this serviceis this really clear
For Emirates FA Cup fixtures, where Coventry City may be required to provide 15% of capacity to the away side, the Sky Blues are advising supporters in the South Stand that they would be required to purchase tickets in a different location for any affected game – however these fans would receive priority access to buy elsewhere.
Presumably this means priority to buy elsewhere that a season ticket is not already in place?
Good old Sammy, even looking sidewards on that pictureI found one from 2010.View attachment 35646View attachment 35647

Why would it be? Do you get a pro rata discount if you buy your season ticket after the initial fixture announcement knowing there's games you won't be able to attend? So refunds will be offered in other areas if fixtures are changed?

I don't see how anyone can with all honest say there bought a season ticket with the expectation that it was guaranteed we would have zero fixtures selected for TV
Do other clubs offer season ticket holders refunds when games are moved?
