I totally get it - I would have been completely happy for us to throw the Ipswich game the other week if they had have been in direct competition with Leicester for 2nd place
Not for me , imagine having to work in this mentally weak environment when you are trying to become the best you can be , spurs fans are pathetic

Maybe I am cut from a different cloth but I totally understand Spurs fans apathy to last night... For me it has been fucking hell watching those cheating bastards and their smug manager celebrate winning the League over the last couple of weeks, it has been even more unbearable especially as it coincided with us being robbed blind of an FA Cup final - I would more than happily have thrown a meaningless game against Ipswich onto the fire for it to have not happened... and our rivalry with them isn't half of what Spurs v Arsenal is

That being said mind you, I would have just not turned up to the game instead of spending my time money and effort turning up to the stadium totally indifferent to the thought of us losing

It would sting me more if I was a Spurs fan that they played okay last night but flopped four important matches in a row when they had a real chance of catching Villa up

Wasn't meaningless if they won they still had a chance at CL football

And that’s the difference.

It actually meant more to them that their rivals lost the title than they win and put themselves in with a chance of Champions League with one game to play.

Bizarre and very fucking cringey behaviour.
Given Villa’s weird form and their last game being at Sheff Utd it was more than a decent chance as well. Pity

Been looking at this de Bruyne offside and I can’t even conceive how this was given and our FA cup semi final winner wasn’t?

Fucking making it up as they go along, with whatever outcome suits them to happen in that particular game.

Can you image that for us? 🤔

Until they have:

a) cameras that track up and down the side of the pitch
b) cameras with a better frame rate
c) some form of sensor in the ball to pinpoint the contact time

They need to stick it all in the bin.

Well that’s what they’ll be deciding on the 6th June, whether or not the PL clubs want to scrap it or not!

Just got back from Liverpool. My lad has always wanted to visit Anfield, so as part of his birthday stuff we did the stadium tour.

Amazing place - I've not been since we last played there in the 90s.

Here he is earlier today in the Home dressing room. 20240515_131352.jpg
