I agree, Tyson was comfortably ahead and started show boating, but round 8 was the turning point. Round 9 was Usyk's (just) and after that it was evens. I thought it would be given as a draw, but I really can't argue with Usyk winning by 1 round.I had Fury ahead comfortably up to r8, but it has always been the case that the boxer who finishes stronger and gets a knockdown is likely to win a split decision.
However, their is a rematch clause so this is half time.
Usyk is an amazing fighter, and Fury deserves full credit for surviving the 8th and coming back.
All in all I think it was the right result.
Fury needs to stop the show boating and keep his right hand higher in a re-match, and he needs to work on his stamina and punch to the body more.
